Not to take anything away from Liverpool. An incredible season from European cup to club world cup and win after win. But to be honest it could have been quite a different story, Guess they were going to lose a game eventually but didn't expect it to be Watford. Seen several of their matches and think they were lucky to win some of them, no less than 12 were by the odd goal against teams like Norwich, Aston Villa and CP. As I said a great team and an even greater manager.

And quite a number were not by the odd goal.

It’s a cliche, but no team steam rollers teams every week; sometime you ride your luck and some times you grind it out.

Some of those single goal victories were unlucky.
Could have had a couple of penalties and an armpit away from comfortably beating Villa for example.


Yesterday was a very strange result and performance. Almost all of them were pretty poor. Whilst I’d love to blame it all on Lovren, I don’t think even he can shoulder all of the blame.

Hope I didn't jinx Liverpool. Read on Sporting life that a reporter (can't remember his name) must have read my message, confirmed what I said about the 1-0 wins..
And now out of Europe, couldn't see that happening. Just as well they have enough points now to win the prem. assuming games left can be played out.
