Andy Carroll and a Table Tennis Table

Post by blahblah »

Darwin is spinning in his grave....

There was one (story), I think last season, that I got injured trying to climb over a balcony drunk on pre-season with West Ham, and I fell off the balcony and got injured. It’s a load of ********.

“I won a game of table tennis, jumped on the table, landed, smashed the table and rolled my ankle and I’m injured.

Phil Bardsley suffered a similar, table tennis related, injury last season.

Similar as in he jumped on the thing? (Or tried to....)

I can't say I watch a lot of Table Tennis, but I've never seen proper TT Player jump on the table and for at least one reason: they are a bit fragile re supporting the weight of a human, especially the size of Andy Carroll.

Chapeau to Andy Carroll for jumping high enough to land on a table tennis table. A more impressive physical exploit than climbing over a balcony (even while drunk).

Get him in your FPL teams now (I assume that is what you are about to do blah as you posted it in the FPL forum  )

I was in a rush and couldn't think of or find a better place.

As if he is an option in a game without a bench 😂

Apparently Bardsley caught his leg on the edge of the table while playing head tennis and sustained a bad gash that kept him out for a few games.

I bet the table is back in action before Carroll.
