£105m up front, the rest potential add-ons, where is the money going to be spent? Decent keeper for starters?

People in glass houses
He’s missed 40% of our league games so far, we’ll persevere.

A bit strange for it to happen at this stage, as he can't play CL for Barca and they've effectively already won La Liga. What would it have cost Liverpool to loan him back for the rest of the season?
It will severely damage Liverpool's chances of making the top four unless they make a real eye-catching signing immediately (any chance they could tempt Sanchez or Ozil?)

At least £26m of the add ons will easily be met. So £131m+ plus for Coutinho. A great bit of business for Liverpool I reckon.Vid wrote:£105m up front, the rest potential add-ons, where is the money going to be spent? Decent keeper for starters?

Rumours of Mahrez and Sanchez.forestfan wrote:A bit strange for it to happen at this stage, as he can't play CL for Barca and they've effectively already won La Liga. What would it have cost Liverpool to loan him back for the rest of the season?

Not sure I can see either. Maybe Mahrez, most smoke on that one and best fit IMO. I think Klopp has it planned though if there is anything so we'll find out soon enough. Definitely won't be scratching round for phone numbers on the 31st.

I suppose Arsenal would rather let Sanchez walk for free in the summer than sell to a rival for a top four place, where every goal he scored would effectively count double against them...murf wrote: ↑06 Jan 2018, 21:52Rumours of Mahrez and Sanchez.forestfan wrote:A bit strange for it to happen at this stage, as he can't play CL for Barca and they've effectively already won La Liga. liverpool makes a great mistake. For winning the Uefa Champions League Liverpool need Salah and Coutinho. Without Coutinho, it will be very hard to grab the win against Real Madrid.

They could probably do with Messi and Ronaldo too.
