He should, and he will. But the facts that it was over four years ago, he was at a different club and he was a very young man should be taken into account and the punishment set accordingly.
Being a very young man makes no difference. he's an adult, plain and simple. You shouldn't get lighter sentences because your are a young adult.

Brighton's Shane Duffy has just had some historical homophobic tweets brought to the FA's attention. He got a letter from them warning him about his future conduct.

Seems fair.

He was 20 at the time. I'm not excusing it but a sense of perspective wouldn't go amiss. You'd have thought he'd have deleted them though.
