Stop looking Herc. Zarkanders win was in a bonus race - 54 points and a fair few had him with Quel Esprit. Shame of it is I had Zarkander in my other line - this one had Spirit Son. So it was a heads or tails call between joint lead for £20k and nowheresville.

Also just to be sure I understand the rules, and if so ensure others are aware - only the top 10 from your newly formed set of 12 will count towards scoring from 13th March. So don't ignore teams with injuries as these will effectively be replaced by your subs.

Some guidelines:

1) for any promising lines you have for either the overall top ten prizes or the 25K consolation Cheltenham prize, pick pairs of bonus horses to add to each such line from either any of the original 32 named horses or the eight new tips

2) lines which are too far behind the leaders (to be able to get in the final top ten, and may not have worthwhile runners in enough bonus races at Cheltenham, even with the aid of two subs, to have any hope for the £25K Cheltenham prize) could be invigorated by aiming them just at the consolation prize of £10K for most points in April; to do that, add mixed pairs of horses from the eight Grand National tips as subs to each of those written-off lines

3) note all the points the real leaders have amassed to date count for absolutely nothing for the £25K Cheltenham or £10k April prizes

I'm having a bit of a nosebleed with this. 432nd overall (was 230th until binocular won last weekend). Have added in Grand Crus and Sizing Europe to cover off two of the bonus races. Pity Grandouet isn't running in the Champion but I have the Fly and Zarkander so decently covered. Assuming Grand Crus goes for the RSA, of the bonus races there's only the Ryanair I haven't got a fancied horse in.

Hopeful of a top 250 finish
