Isn't it better to put your potential outsiders in as Stable Stars? Mine never win anyway but if life was fair I think this strategy might pay off :)

Some interesting comments from AOB regarding his string.

I'd have thought that selecting a horse that just might win at a decent price as your stable star was a "given".

The O'Brien stable tour was interesting, although the usefulness of anything that comes out of AOB's mouth is always limited by the fact that everything he says is aimed at promoting future stallion values. It's extremely rare for any of his horses to perform below expectations without it being 100% Aidan's fault. But I have a slight suspicion that he's not as poor a trainer as he would have us believe and that not all his horses are swans as he again would have us believe.

I'm only going to have one line in this TTTF as it's often a waste of money. The NH version nearly always gives one a run for one's money and an interest to Cheltenham and beyond. But with so little form to go on, one's interest in the flat TTTF can be over far too soon. In fact it's certainly easier to make money on flat ante post betting than it is to be in serious contention up to the last day in the flat TTTF.

Posted on the jumps thread about a side league for the TTF flat - think Ashers is signing up. Anyone else need the details ?

Also been circulated about same group (about 150 strong ) attempting a scoop 6 rollover syndicate PM me for details on either.

Two in the top 100 early days .. pleased that Taghrooda looks decent as I have Oaks fav. in eight lines.

The Tote couldn't care less about this now I should imagine. A quick estimate suggests that they will earn at least 200 x income from the ten to follow entire season comp. in one Scoop 6 roll up today. Current Scoop 6 pool nearly £13m according to Betfair tote page. If not won today syndicate members will be selling the family silver to get up enough for the next go

Just realized what Striker was saying as it's only the odds that get doubled not the race and bonus points. The leaders had both Guineas winners. You'd think there'd be plenty more horses to change the leaderboard as it depends on the other 8 unless one or both of them get another win..

Surprise meeting in France on Sunday between Olympic Glory and Cirrus Des Aigles a distinct possibility .. I love it when connections have a go instead of the usual cotton wool job.

Although we have both, Cirrus Des Aigles would be a better winner for us, as he would differentiate us more from the others around us at the top.

Having said that Olympic Glory is absent from both lists above us.....so who knows!

I like your chances :) My best up to 13th now and would have been much higher if Lightning Thunder had pulled it out. All change in June no doubt

Yep, Derby, Coronation Cup, Oaks and Royal Ascot will see a big shake up on the overall leaderboard.

Well Done Takeshi! Even better would be if Australia fails to live up to his reputation, you'd then also looking good to be making a major season long challenge. Nice looking team!! Having said that, with my very decent bet on Australia for the Derby, I'm a bit biased in hoping the Ballydoyle hype has real substance and that you are not in quite such brilliant shape come Saturday evening.

:)

Yes, things can change such a lot in June, due to all the bonus races, Royal Ascot etc, so anything from here on in is gravy. We've effectively picked up the 3rd highest prize available by winning a monthly, so can't really ask for much more. Been a few years since we last had a win on the TTF, so it's welcome.

Meeting up with the other two guys over the next couple of days to give them their share, so all good.

We'll be shouting on Kingston Hill on the big day, that's for sure! Let it rain, let it rain, let it rain.

Congrats.Spend/save it wisely.Prob worth a 100+ on Australia as a hedge then no guarantee of anything even if the horse doesn't win.

If that's you top now....well done! Tough part is staying there now with all these big races in June.

Yes, I need oxygen :D I don't have a Derby runner in that team so vulnerable today. Team in 7th probably more likely prospect. Ambivalent about the chances of that one.

I think we just got swamped TK, but handy to the top 10 is good with 19 bonus races still to come. Did have a bit on Australia so bring on Royal Ascot 8-)
