So we off and Surprised & Subsonic take a 6.5 length from the off, while the others are sat there waiting for gun to fire.

We are now approaching the 1st fence and Dicky, Pick, Yorkshire Dragon, GM, TDA, Spencer4, Owenclass and Striker have made a 2.25 length dent into Surprised and Subsonic's lead.

The others though still find themselves at the start wondering why their horses are not moving.

The leading group have just cleared the first fence and hear an almighty boom and look around to see the others left at the start moving.

Off the line goes Jimmy Ching, Golden Bear, MVL, Bolton Boy, Ashers, Bunners, Workie Ticket and Richt

When the runners turn around they find Subsonic in the lead by just under a length.

The horses are now all in running and clear a few fences with no issues.

However, they are just approaching Beecher's Brook and this should shake a few things up.

And there goes GM, what a leap from home to not only make up the gap to the first group but to go three lengths clear.

[Ashers]

The race is really going now and the fences are showing their toll with Bolton Boy and MVL hitting every fence they come to.

However; at the front Surprised and Jimmy Ching has decided to try and break the group and find themselves clear first and second.

[Ashers]

I can't believe it, Surprised has not only broken away from the group but seems to be increasing his lead and comes to the canal turn while the others are still trying to battle over Foinavon.

Can anyone catch him or has he gone to early?

The leading group are a third of away around the course and Surprised has lost ground over the past three fences to find GM just over one length ahead of him.

The TDA and DickyPick are way back in last and has yet to make it past the first fence and the rest of the field are spread out as far as the eye can see.

After the twelve fence Surprised finds himself back in the lead by just over three lengths, but Richt is cutting up through the field and looks dangerous.

So we have cleared another two fence and there is no change in the order. However, the leaders are about to tackle to chair and this is bound to shake up the order.

Well that fence certainly shook the race up with some of the front runners making a mess of it and allowing the back runners to catch them up.

Surprised has stayed in the lead and the front nine our Surprised, Jimmy Ching, GM, Bolton Boy, Yorkshire Dragon, SubSonic, Workie-Ticket, Ashers and MVL.

Dicky Pick looks to have given up and is currently struggling for form.

We are just coming up to the 18th fence and Bolton Boy has caught the first two and gone into the lead by 6 lengths.

Workie-Ticket has also close in on the previous 1st and 2nd.

And there we have it, the 20th fence and 2/3 of the way round.

The leaders have all successfully made it over this fence and GM has rushed through to take the lead.
