Does anyone know for sure in the McDonalds game if one can make changes between games on the same day with the same effect on your score as if all changes were made before the first kick off of a day? Thanks in advance.

Also does anyone know if it is safe to sub off Brazil players and get them locked as surely there is a risk that with the overlapping "game weeks" or whatever they are called, you will find that you can't get them back on the pitch for Brazils second game if they are not unlocked until after all round 1 is complete?

Btw some computer generated pic doesn't actually prove anything...

Thanks, no problem with the locking except possibly with respect to Brazilians as I mentioned above. But you have got points for players brought on at 7.55pm?

Would it be worth losing 10 pts for 2 Swiss guys and bring in Iranians tonight or Algerians tomorrow?

That is close to what I am getting at.
Watch Wimbledon in the next 2 weeks, when there is a challenge to a line call, they always show a graphic that is a good 2cm in, or the same out.
Where are all the very close incidents.
The France goal must have been no more than the width of a cigarette paper, maybe they won't show them that close because the gap between the ball and line is barely visible to the naked eye. Apart from all the controversy it would generate.

Which is plenty. The ref can't have constant replays from different angles so relies on goal line technology. That technology got it spot on so I'm not sure why is is still being debated.

When was the last time Portugal had a top, top, top striker? They usually have talented teams, so it's a pity they are always so toothless upfront.

Germany joining the Dutch as one of the two most impressive teams. Pepe gone, game over if it wasn't already

Remind me a bit of of Bayern under Heynckes before Guardiola came and changed things. They break so quickly and decisively.

Depends what you mean by top top top? Probably Eusebio although Ronaldo is a striker who tops scoring charts. Eusebio had a good foil in Torres

Just this second noticed that Neymar now has 14 points as though I had not captained him. Though the "C" is still there. I'm guessing the round 2 transition is happening. That or some other glitch. Anyone else lost their captain points?

Yes, but I don't think we've lost them. The points are in blue and the total is still right (if a bit pitiful in my case). Come on Iran!

I reckon the ref would of given a penalty to Portugal there, had it not been for him intercepting a Germany attack just seconds earlier. Probably felt guilty!
