So they have the regular 3 rounds and then the top 24 go into matchplay mode for the last round.

How does that work out? If they play 3 balls then they would still have several rounds on the last day - unless they play 9 holes or something.

Does anyone know how they did it last year?

It’s all 6 hole matchplay on the final day hence “super 6”, all a bit of a farce in reality.
