Storming week for a few, not so good for the rest of us

US Open is the final week of the Spring segment, so GM is holding on to the £10 for the best weekly score at 232 and Trickster1 holds a 39 point lead in the battle for the segment £10.

Week 23:

And I thought last week was bad!

Most of us ended up with this week being our mulligan for the segment which means GM held on to win the highest weekly score for the Spring segment

Trickster1 was not so fortunate, as johngooch sneaked through in the final week to snatch the segment £10

In other news, nevblake is back in the top 30 overall, thanks to an impressive 132 pts this week.

Nevblake wins another week and moves to his highest position world wide.

Good to see so many of us using up that mulligan so early in the final segment

For info, I've also added the totals if no mulligans were given. Some interesting differences at the moment, though I guess these will narrow as the segment progresses

A good week for our leader, Nevblake, as he moves back into the top 50 worldwide

Longdrivers performing equally as well in the segment, at 48th in the world

Nevblake has another good week to rise to 25th in the World

Topspur nails the weekly with 202 points

Things are really hotting up at the top, with nevblake and johngooch sitting at 32nd and 33rd in the world

And Longdriver continues to set the Summer segment on fire, maintaining his lead and setting the highest score of the segment with 237

And there's 5 teams scrapping for the £10 for 3rd place overall too!

Two weeks to go:

Well, nevblake finally gets dislodged at the top by johngooch, who climbs to 26th in the world in the process

And last year's winner Longdrivers has had another storming week, jumping up to 3rd place in the FISO league, and 6th worldwide in the Summer segment

The highest segment score also went this week, thanks to an impressive 242 from topspur

It's all going on, what a finish to the season for our mini-league!

Well its almost impossible to reach the top 3 ... sitting Top 6 at the moment .. one more round to go hmmm can I reach Toffeelover. Enjoyed the competition all year. Next Year I'm going to try and be more active on the board ...but when you run several fantasy games it takes everything to just make your weekly picks .... Hi Saccers ...

if you are not already familiar with this string, its worth looking at.
I've had to move away from playing most of these, but enjoyed them for a number of years.
There was always between 8-20 playing most of the games, if memory serves me ...

Race to Dubai & Yahoo are the two best supported.
ProTour Fantasy Golf is high on graphics and has an app that runs well on mobiles. (you refer to it as "PGAtour Avis" below)
Bunkered has a unique team picking system & is low on graphics.
Today, NCG, Golf Monthly, Irish Times are all run from a similar hosting site but one of them has slightly different picking rules (cannot remember which)
I know nothing about GolfPunk or DraftKings.

And so we come to the final week.

It looks like johngooch has done enough, sitting in 27th place world-wide, and holding a 38 point advantage over nevblake in second.

Longdriver continues to have an awesome summer segment, currently 4th in the world . His excellent run in has cemented 3rd place in the FISO league, but as he is not in the £5 league, the fight for the tenner for 3rd place is really hotting up, with loads of you queuing up to nudge me out in the final week

Topspur has one hand on the segment tenner, with a great score of 242. But with no cut this week, who knows........?
