GIANNI RETURNS! NEW TOTELFOOTBALL GAMES AND LEAGUES FOR 2011-2012

With the long awaited return of the Premier League this Saturday we are delighted to relaunch our fantasy football betting service for another great year of football action. This weekend will of course feature Matchday 1 of the Premier League but there's more…. You will now be able to enter teams in the German Bundesliga top flight! So those who know their footballers at Bayern Munich, champions Borussia Dortmund, Schalke and all the other German sides, can play for guaranteed pools or in private pools with friends.

As well as this we will introduce our season long games to determine who the best managers are. You will be able to select your teams throughout the season.Substitutions are easy and the best 10 weeks worth of scores are calculated to determine champs(and chumps!) as well as all payouts. The more teams entered the better for you as with 38 teams entered for example, you can omit your worst 28 leaving your 10 best scores.Entering more teams increases your points average as well as accumulations. The season long games will provoke great debate, interest, fun and of course have very attractive betting pools to compete for.

On Saturday August 20 La Liga of Spain restarts with the big 2 of Barca and Real Madrid commencing on the Sunday. We will be offering its weekly and season long games for Spain too. With Barcelona confirmed as the strongest team in football and possibly the best club side seen for decades, Real and The Special One will do all in their power to prevent a Catalan 4 in a row. Guardiola's men must start marginal favourites though with the exalted trio of Iniesta, Xaxi and Messi still at the height of their powers and the possible addition of Cesc Fabregas to the team.

Then on August 28 the action switches to Italy and Managers/players can play the Serie A as new champions AC Milan look to retain their title. Many people think that Napoli have an emerging team that can go far and of course you have to factor Inter's squad into your calculations. There is so much more to consider.Penalty takers are especially important in Spain and Italy as a higher percentage of goals and therefore player points come from this source. Many Italian sides preach the merits of tight defending or "catenaccio" so clean sheets are always sought by away teams who tend to only pour forward occasionally.

Follow all the action with us as “ Calcio” returns and the fortunes of Juventus, Lazio, Roma, the Milan 2, Napoli and all the rest play out from now to June. Gianni being a Neapolitan, cannot wait for the season to start!

Play Serie A season long or match by match with global and private pools.

Finally the Champions League qualifiers are under way with Arsenal facing a tricky Italian job with Udinese. They will hope to make it through to the Group stages. TotelFootball fans are already guaranteed they can play from September as we will have both our matchday and season long games available. It's the most prestigious of all so if you fancy your chances against either your mates or wish to take on all comers the Champions League is sure to provoke the most intense competition of any of our leagues and will have great pools to play for.

We have new features and functionality which we hope you will like .We welcome your feedback and we will cover the action in our preview and topical blogs and forums. We will also have quizzes and challenges for you to keep those football brains sharp!
We will have an extensive FA Premier League Season preview posted later with the first of 4 parts culminating on Saturday 13th in time for the big kick off.

Gianni will have loads of tips, suggestions, player profiles and trend spotting that can make the season profitable for you! So with new season starting we will have the best of the action for you to play and win right up to next summer's Euro 2012.

Good luck!!!

You cannot bet into the pool at present.

We are taking a break for the Summer
but will return with an expanded, improved
service in the Autumn.

Bit cheesed off to be honest.

Out of respect to your customers you could have just said "we won't be ready this week but back for week 2". That's what Player Manager did.

Have you bitten off more than you can chew? I hope not but only 150 teams were going in last season for the PL game but now there's a Italian, Spanish and German game

So people know what they're doing in terms of team preparation could you just post giving a definitive date for when the game is going to start.

For the 2011/2012 season we are looking to add further game formats to the TotelFootball offering...

Season Long League
- Each week a manager can enter between 1 and 6 teams into the pool game.
- The point scored by the manager's top team for the week will count towards the season long league.
- The sum of each manager's top 10 weekly scores will count towards the season long points total.
- Prizes will be paid out to the top managers at the end of the season .

2-month Leagues
- Similar format to the above.
- Competitions run over Aug/Sept, Oct/Nov, Dec/Jan, Feb/Mar, Apr/May
- Top 4 weekly scores to count during each competition.

All feedback welcome...

Is this not happening now then..? :(
