Re: 2017 SBru F1 (Prediction) - round 13: Shaggy365 wins & takes the lead

Post by Shaggy365 »

Watched the qualifying yesterday morning, having already predicted Vettel pole & Vettel win. So much for that as an idea. Decided I was going to change my picks and sacrifice the 2 points early-pick, but not until this morning before the race started. Got up in plenty of time, but ended up pausing the TV for about 20 minutes, and then was about to change my picks but forgot that I wasn't watching it 'live', and I was already too late.

Already taken the screen-shot to save for posterity for my overall position.

My FISO final position
2014 - 2nd
2015 - 3rd
2016 - 2nd
2017 - Still plenty of time to mess it all up, but 7th overall is good enough for me.

Bad luck there, Shaggy ... but it doesnt appear to have made a difference ...

round 15 in Malaysia was a drawn affair between .... yes, you guessed it Shaggy 365 and McBear, followed closely by murf (who has moved into contention since Singapore)

2017 SBru F1 (Prediction) - round 16: Moist von Lipwig wins ...

Post by Mick MacPaddywack »

round 16 in Japan was won by Moist von Lipwig with the usual suspects in close proximity ...
murf and McBear closed slightly and are now within striking distance of Shaggy ...
squeaky bum time in Alex Ferguson's parlance ...

Ended up 9th, and 2nd in England. Can't really moan with a single digit finishing position. If Riccardo hadn't had his hydraulic problem , would have got him right & Raikonnen & Verstappen in the right places.

Life is full of if's & but's.

Still v happy :D

Congratulations Shaggy :D

I was 45th, 9th in England, 2nd on FISO. My highest position of the year.

Not bad out of 17,442 (top 0.3%)

Doesn't seem we had a 2018 thread but I'll bump this one to remind everyone that the 2019 season has started (P1/P2 practice last night, P3/qualifying/first deadline tonight) and the FISO league on Superbru seems to be functioning so go, go, go.

[dusts away cobwebs]

This one doesn't get much attention on FISO itself but the FISO league is still going strong - only 11 in at the moment but I'm sure that will rise like Fernando Alonso's Phoenix.

Just a shout out to join up if you are interested - qualifying is at 3pm (UK) today so is the deadline if you want to maximise your points potential but you can still pick up until the GP start tomorrow and have a possibly more informed selection.

more cobwebs!

Still going. I see there are 10 of us in the league already.

Qualifying starts very soon (4pm Friday(!) UK) or sacrifice the early picker bonus point and wait and see how quali goes and pick then for the race SATURDAY 3pm (UK time)
