Fantasy IPL 2018

The IPL is starting on Sunday 7th April and there is a 3.30pm BST game everyday until 20 May also at weekends there is an 11.30am BST game as well. You cannot amend teams after the toss, so not being there for start isn't a factor. The mini leagues are made up of 8 teams and you play each other live with live scoring which is different and there are many close battles. It hasn't quite opened yet but suspect it will in next 48 hours. If we only get 5 or 6 players from here (normal) then the system fills our league to 8 automatically. Its free and you can only enter one team.

I have put fixtures on my fixture chart https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... d=93455725 and will post league details when it opens. To play you need to be able to make changes everyday but not at any set time. The live scoring is the highlight of the competition and you can see the other teams side once the game has started.

Yes it has opened now, Its had quite a revamp, I had to re-register. Its quite tricky, you only need 11 players although for some reason you can pick more, thats a bit of a red herring, just pick 11. Not sure all that I posted earlier is correct now, need to go through the rules properly. The first week is always difficult because we don't have many clues, but it does get easier.

I'm in but got to say its not the most friendly of sites. Got no idea how the pp player works - is it a pp player each game - or 1 pp player per round of fixtures and what is a second innings pp? Took half a dozen goes to get the team to save as I thought I was exceeding the franchise limit but all I had to do was select pp players. Hope that helps anyone else putting in a team.

Good Man, I just accepted 3 others as well. It took me a bit to get the hang of it, but its getting easier. I think we have a PP player per game, and a 2nd Innings PP player per game as well. And you have to nominate you PP man before the start. But you can nominate the 2nd Innings PP guy anytime up to the start of the 2nd Innings. So the PP player will score double all the way though and 2nd Innings guy will obviously only score double in the 2nd innings. Not good if your not watching, but great if you are.

Thats alright just play the game when you can, It is a difficult one to keep on top of, so you won't be the only one mate.

How did CSK manage that? - I thought they had no chance when they needed 100 off 9 overs and had lost 5 wkts.

Doing better today with GAMBHIR. (Oops somehow got him for 2nd innings - changed it round after I heard the toss but obvs didn't work.) Suddenly need Ashwin to get wickets with just 8 balls of his stint left.
Only got 3 playing, keep trying to swop out non player for someone from game 3 but says squad locked.

I fell asleep and missed the interval, so have Ashwin as 2nd Inning PP and he ain't going to score anything. I was desperate to put Tewatia in, but he is classed as allrounder and that just made it too difficult. They must think a lot of him as he came in above Christian and Morris.

Andre Russell remains the key player of Kolkata Knight Riders. He is considered as the best allrounder in the world and he seems to be very dangerous to the opponent.
