England batting, probably forced by the "2" spinners?

Can't really change now without major surgery and don't have time to check all the other teams to prevent duplication... Tricky...Not at all happy with my team....hey,ho!πŸ˜…

Locked now?

I think England batting protects my Warner and Smith a bit, hopefully Starc goes big and Hazlecomb bombs with the ball.

(Day 2 and 3 best to bat apparently, M Hussey, I think.)

Yup,the sun comes back for the fourth innings....So no changes for me....not enough time... I think the toss was actually a few minutes early...

Plus factors...I have Starc...

Minus factors... No Smith,Cummins or Lyons...

The winner will almost certainly have Smith...good luck to you....I would be thrilled to be in top three...unlikely...

Oh...if I might say without coming across badly..My better half and I were in Sydney in May....Managed to get into the members' bar ( as very poorly portrayed in the BBC short video)... We also got into both dressing rooms.... Incredibly basic but utterly reek of history....

Other way round here: any reason you say Cummins not Hazlewood?

Because I already have Hazelwood... and I think that Cummins has a sight edge on him...

This is the most balanced team that I have had but as a consequence, the weakest in terms of Aussie bowlers..

Warner,Cook,Starc,Hazelwood, Curran, Crane....

So we have Starc vs Cook!πŸ˜•

Have fun!

Two Cummins wickets.... that is why I wanted him in in place of Hazelwood.... hey,ho! Usual stuff from Vince and Stoneman is now also a concern...

Blah,blah....I fear you are right...there was a great description on TMS of the gradual change from sunlight to semi shadow for the batsman and the ominous sense of encroaching doom.....Root going was tragic...Bairstow was....simply awful for a major batsman....I hope Moe sleeps well....gulp...

Jim...there are also the NZ games looming!

Ooozzzie...did the bar run out of beer? We were counting on you to hold it all together!

So near and yet so far......πŸ˜•

In terms of my team in this game I’m hoping Anderson and crane can put on a miraculous 200 partnership to see us past 500....... in really life I just hope broad and moeen can hang around with Malan long enough to get us past 350, that would be competitive I think.

I assume they are making up some of the time from this morning.....

(Apologies for UK time bias here, but it confuses the ass off me otherwise.)

50 what?

A few stats, I'm not that into them tbh but these arte mildly intersting:
1, Root has a 5hite conversion rate of 50's into 100's c 25% . Among others, Warner is 44% and Smith >50% and are the ball park for the best players?
2, And this is weird: Stoneman has a ridiculous strike rate really early in his Innings compared to after. It is something like twice for the first 20 mins or Balls or something than the rest (70 or 80 odd vs 30 odd per 100 Balls, I think). The only vague justification is that slips slip away and there are more outfielders... More realistically he tries to be assertive (ie Warner) then decides enough is enough and goes all "Geoffrey". the problem being that Boiks knows times have changed.....

On Malan: from the highlights he could have been out 3 or 4 times already, but has concentration and tries, unlike Vince
