I entered 15 season long teams but abandoned 10 very early (when they started badly) to try to have a run in super 8's ( one still surviving ) and the 4 others season long dropped away pretty quickly. Good luck for the rest of the season.

Back today... for some reason in the middle of T20.

Usual glut of wickets i see.

There's only two Ryan Sidebottoms.

Well yes middleish, but when do they play it then? http://9nl.es/CricketFixtures No answer is correct. Impossible really to move it and be a lot better? Overall Its far far better than last years disaster. Hopefully they can tweak it again, but I don't think they are far off myself, albeit not perfect, but can it ever be perfect? No chance. :D Best of a bad job I suppose. Remember this year we lost a couple of games. But we also have no ridiculous change overs which were really unfair.

I'm sure someone knows this (I should do, I've been playing long enough but I've forgotten :) ), but I changed the captaincy to Samit Patel this morning, whereupon he was immediately run out without adding to his overnight total. What score would I be getting from him? The T&C's on the website aren't clear to me.

Rick, you won't get a minus score for a duck. You'll just get 0 for his batting.

Yep some big wicket hauls and captain fantastic straight back into his stride.
Best of 5 now in 5th so hopefully in with a shout however Mr Hamers leading team has a nice gap.

Would you believe that I had had my eye on the first day for ages with the intent of bringing Cpn Fantastic back in as much as possible?

However I was lying in bed, somewhat unwell, a distance from home and couldn't summon the energy!!! Doh....

Is it just me or has Leach (w) gone really flat?...No pun intended!

Also,I am confused regarding Amir's stay at Essex? Any hints as to how long he has left?

Toffeeman, that is a brilliant performance, for all sorts of reasons..Very best of luck for the run in.....

Thanks.... DD...

Hope you are feeling a bit better DD, you will have to give me an update where you are when you got 10 mins. I haven't really been concentrating on this round to be honest, and now looks like because of better for the batsman on Day 2, and rain Day 3, that most games will actually go to day 4 after all.

Good going toffeeman now is the time to plan those Captain moves in fine detail. You don't want to be left with 2 over and a day to go. I am sure you won't but
important to get them right at this stage. Problem with saving them for the last week is you never know what the weather is going to do. I would say 2 captains left in last week would great. Don't give anything away though. Good Luck.

Thanks dd and ooozzie. Should be able to go into the final week with a couple left. Poor day yesterday and dont think today will be much better.

Quite tight up top so would be nice to be in a chance of a top 5 finish into the last week.

1 team left in the super 8's but about 100 down and used my last transfer today bringing carey in as captain, as 1 short for hogan

'Crowd trouble' stops play at the Oval :)

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/live-scores

Time to tune in .......

Scott Borthwick bowls his first delivery of the Middlesex second innings, John Simpson hits it for four. But what's happening now? The umpires halt play after the batsmen point out something untoward on a nearby strip. More details when we have them.

Seemingly an object has landed on the outfield and now security have been pointed towards the OCS Stand. I've never seen this before."

Thanks for the good wishes, Ooozzzie.I will indeed be in touch soon.Up and about now, thankfully, a bit weak but running to catch up......Only five days from home....horrible! :(

Thanks for the info, KC....I read that Ten D had to return to SA...wonder how long for? Also interested to see if TRJ will be available for Mid on Tuesday...

Jim...the crossbow bolt stopped play business must be one of the strangest ever!!

Toffeeman...steady as she goes!... Good luck for next week...

Well, scraped through in the super 8's. Next round shows as 1st to 7th which seems strange given that will only be 3 of the 4 days play ?

The telegraph have confirmed that this is correct !

Don't forget 10.30 deadline today, I almost did.

Not that I'll be making any changes before then as almost all games have delayed start. In one game with line ups posted, no Sam Curran for Surrey.

Sooo....no S Curran,no Ten D and no TRJ.....I wonder if he will be available for Mid next week, even if he plays on Thursday?

Inconvenient but might sit on my hands, given the weather...

Well, peaked at 6th and sat in 8th. Interestingly Mr Hamers lead has been eaten up. Things shaping up for a tight finish, which could easily involve a good few teams.

Lots if talk previously about competing with the multi's, and previously i think i said that i thought that you need at least 10 teams.

I entered 5 and now have 3 in the top 100, 1 of which is still clinging on in the super 8's.

I dont really have any sort of knowledge of county cricket apart from playing tfc over the last few years. What im trying to say is you can still compete so dont become dispondent when you see the leaderboard littered with the same names.
Also without the multis would we still have the game ?

Not sure what was up with Stevens but he certainly had a poor week by his standards - maybe a niggle. Joe Leach was reported to have a slight side niggle on the Worcestershire twitter but it didn't seem to stop him.

Well played, yes it is shaping up to be an exciting end to the fantasy season.
Previous winners Matthew Hamer and Kevin Holmes going well, although as you say Mr Hamer's lead has been cut with a very good week for Andrew Douglas.
I'm in 3rd and now have 3 of my 4 teams in the top 50.

I paid for a load of credits via season ticket beginning of year support this game but I always kept forgetting to use them and then my PC broke and phone was to fiddly - point is I have 12 unused credits - have I got time use them up try for a weekly though I really don't know what I'm doing or how you have time to manage that many teams - guess need to pick players night before and hope they play innings right way round for your selections and captain selections?

Bluelionman,I am in a similar position! I have nine unused teams and two with 30 transfers....I too will have to pick the night before and generally hope that the batsmen bat and the bowlers bowl....Don't have the technology available to do it all after teams/tosses announced.

Dittto badly burned with Cpn,Cpn Fantastic this week.....hmmm
