just as an aside, picking up on my earlier ref to welsh football, did any of u see the itv coverage of the game? they had ryan giggs as a pundit... oh boy...
i could never figure out why people were going on about him being the next man u manager and how brilliant he would be. yes he was a cracking player but that don't mean sheet, mary-sue.
anyway, despite the well-meaning efforts of his co-pundits to make him look good, there was no disguising that this guy isn't too hot up top....
in top gear speak... if jose mourhino is a ferrari taking a corner full throttle... or jurgen klopp is a porsche speeding down the autobahn... i'm afraid giggsy is a tractor, with a puncture, chugging up a muddy hill, in the rain. ... with the handbrake on.

great guess re 'flash' but sadly no.Nabby wrote:In which case it can only be..dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum...Flash (recordo gordon) ahh ahh saviour of the universe

in the answers the cricketer's name is usually cunningly hidden as opposed to standing alone. eg you wont find anita ward/WARKS even tho ring my bell is a fabbo songo.
you are right on lip up batty tho.

As Her Nibs and I are now in Padstow with an 'ex car', in something of a state of shock and in need of some light relief....I am coming late to the party!
How about 'Express Yourself?'.....An ...err....expression that always makes me want to chuck something at the radio, as it seems to mean throw your bat at everything like an untutored eight year old......as long as you do it 'without fear!!!'
DD.
The good news (only....hmm) is that the interwebby is fine....ha!

Your not very good at this are you boys?
CLUE. The song was meant to be on her Music album released in 2000 but she decided to pull it at the last minute so it has never been released. You can only listen to it if you look out for Madonna bootleg uploads.

Re: Nabby's Cricket Quiz Corner
Well...I may be in Padstein with a scrapped car,but Mrs ' Nana has called me Ducky so the world seems a better place!
I'll have a listen later when I get the opportunity... Thanks for the link....I am a music obsessive and although she may not really be to my taste,I admire your dedication....
Madge's version of A Pie was a little too electronically doctored for me but I suppose it brought a great song to people's attention again.... I was sorry to read some of the stories about Don McLean last year......not good,if accurate.....
I assume the handsome, clever and kindly one is off doing good deeds again today!

Re: Nabby's Cricket Quiz Corner
Honestly I was very rubbish on that music quiz! However, I have created another 18 question quiz (one for each county). Are we ready for another one or are people still trying to finish this one off?
