Thanks Wiz! And good luck with your runs and wickets teams
Ah, yes, I have seen futabudgi on here, but he doesn't post much. He doesn't have anything to fear from me anyway

Good going Fantasist, looks like there are a few FISOers doing well atm.Fantasist wrote:Oooh, scores are up. And yes, a leap of 50 places and now just outside the top 50. Not even close to being a Sam Clark (no idea who that is on here), but as a single entrant, I'm delighted with my season so far.
Got one of my four teams up to 19th in the runs league thanks to Rikki yesterday, but suspect the 400 run gap to the top is far too much to make up. Still it maintains my interest for a while longer.
Thanks for the Malan/Lions heads-up, hadn't really twigged that as an issue, although of course he got called into the England squad shortly after I selected him.

Thanks Catman! Welcome on the Malan comment, I have my exit plan in place for that on Friday. Why don't you follow my example and go with a Glamorgan & Gloucester X1?
Really hoping for some tropical weather in Cardiff today!

Well I put a few Durham players in, so they had better win today, also more Glos players, ditched all Worcs. Can't really do much more now.

Why Durham when they don't play again until Friday?
Leicester play Tuesday and Friday.
What have I missed....?

either ooozzzie knows something that none of us know and has a cunning plan or just has extra transfers to burn

Staying loyal to the foxes and watching them over the Murray match, although not too happy about the 4 overseas players. Yes Leicestershire play again on Tuesday and Friday but there aren't necessarily any outstanding options

Well really I just thought Durham have better fixtures and more chance of qualifying, today obviously a big game. Re: TFC t20 Blast 2016
They don't need to be outstanding if they have the extra games (a 3fornone over Essex), just average will bring in the points. Outstanding would be a bonus!
That's my philosophy anyway... Probably where I'm going wrong?!
Edit: I am sitting on lots of transfers though, so can drop the Foxes after next Sunday's game.

Glammy are scoring at less than a run a ball and the game is 17 overs old

There you are then, that's the bit you missed, I have transfers, but didn't really want to play players that I don't think will qualify. You do.Jester wrote:They don't need to be outstanding if they have the extra games (a 3fornone over Essex), just average will bring in the points. Outstanding would be a bonus!

To be fair though Jester plan was last night to play Leicester players, just changed my mind this morning, so close call.

this up pretty soon, resting McKay will be very high up the list I would have thought.

Every year I get to finals day with transfers and captain changes remaining - making sure that doesn't happen this year!
Pity there are no changes between games on finals day imo...

Tonight
Foxes (from): Pettini (capt), Cosgrove, Delport, Behardien, Raine, Horton, Wells, Hill (w/k), Dexter, Taylor, Burgess, McKay, Naik, Sayer.
Outlaws (from): Christian (capt), Read (w/k), Fletcher, Gurney, Hutton, Lumb, Mullaney, Patel, Smith, Tahir, Taylor, Wessels, S Wood.
(Ooozzie - i've just spotted your very useful Legb4Cricket fixture chart is missing a blob for Warwickshire on Sunday - they have 5 games left).

Re: TFC t20 Blast 2016
Got that thanks, lot of rain about today, showers sort of everywhere, but Midlands, London worse, not sure about this game tonight yet, should be ok, but proceed with caution if making transfers, will update later. Warwickshire in their position with 5 left obviously look good, doesn't take a genius to work that one out.
Couple of other things.........
Anyone who likes watching wall to wall Olympics I have added a seperate spreadsheet for them, which favours GB events, will be updating this as
events pan out https://goo.gl/waf29t (Might take 3 or 4 secs to load)
There is also an Olympics FISO game here viewtopic.php?t=119102 You have to pick six countries and get points for medals which will be updated daily through the games. I put mine in a few days ago.

Its been raining on/off all day in Leicester with some more heavy rain showing at 5pm for quite some time as it is slow moving. Looking at the overall situation, I would say pretty dire, we will see.

Lancashire squad
Peterson, Clark, Brown, Livingstone, Croft, Reece, Moores, Lilley, Parry, Edwards, Buck, Proctor, Mahmood.
The obvious question is who will open in place of Buttler, presumably Clark but Reece has also opened in second team T20 games so could be an option.

Weather looking ok for tonights game, there are showers around, but only little ones, and they look like missing anyway. Can't see a problem.
