Money received. Thanks Jester for arranging.

Fingers crossed Telegraph Towers change their mind for next year.

Well, news travels quickly and I have recently received a message from a certain maupassant of this Parish. He asked about the future of the competition and was rewarded with this reply:

It does look like we will now be running both the County and Twenty20 games again this season.

Kind regards

Ian
So great news! A potential new season for TFC! Now we all need everyone to rally behind it and make sure that there's a greater turnout than ever. If there is, then we might be able to secure a game in 2018...just.

Is it really that time of year already...?!
Great news though :-)

Great news indeed.

With them not running a Champions League football game this year, I'd totally given up on them running the cricket again.

This is indeed good news, I know it's early stages but are people more steered towards division 2 players as there are more games/teams?

Well I wondered about that after your post and have counted them up and both leagues play 14 fixtures, so in Div 1 that is correct, but in Div 2 it is 4 fixtures short of playing everyone twice. And so we have lost fixtures because last season of course it was 9 in both leagues and they all played 16. But I think creating space has enabled the fixtures to be better overall, but doubt those with season tickets will agree with that....fair enough can't really argue, all teams have lost 2 Championship fixtures.

Thanks ooozzzie, that is good it's the same number of games for both divisions

Great news. With 16600 entrants in both formats last year I always felt that there was enough interest to warrant another year of TFC. Best start compiling my fixture spreadsheet :D
