Re: PickLive
As you know Ashers i play picklive, not many Fisoers on there as far as I can see.
Well managed game but think they (pickive) take too much from the game financially..
Very well advertised game i thought via facebook, twitter etc..probably where similar games have failed to be successful....

Re: PickLive
I stopped playing when they cut the game times down from 10 minutes to 7 minutes, perhaps they're even shorter now. I thought it made each game too much of a lottery.

Re: PickLive
Yes they're now down to 5 minute games and they have the £1 and £3 games ...
Still cant believe the cut they take from each 5 minute game....you get 15-20 people in a £3 game and they are making a fair profit from each..suppose thats what its all about at the end of the day....

From recollection Chris there were 90+ entries in £10 game.. would have won it if Robben had scored the pen . Not to worry shared £300 with 5 others in joint 2nd

Registered last year, but last night was my first proper go at it in the new format.
Went with Gomes over Muller and that cost me 2nd in the end.

I noticed the prizes have been reduced and wonder how the £25k prize works out.

shocking really that they have said boldly on the site and in all emails £25000 Euro dreamteam comp. Including finished, active and future games it is only at around £8200. I have asked a few times wheres the rest only to be told it will be distributed (they were standing by this even at the quarter finals stage) so unless they go for a 15k final which would be crazy wheres the rest??

Re: PickLive
I see The Telegraph are now trying to pick up referrals too:
'Try 90-minute Fantasy Football tonight
Dear Telegraph Fantasy Football Manager,
The Champions League kicks off tonight and we've got something we think you'll like - a great new way to enjoy Fantasy Football.
In short - you choose five players just for a single match. It's the one night stand of the fantasy football world - all the fun with none of the long term commitment.
It's called PickLive. Your five players score points for all sorts of things and the aim of the game is to pick a team that accumulates more points in 90 minutes than your opponents.
There are two matches for you to choose from tonight - Montpellier v Arsenal and, the big one, Real Madrid v Manchester City.
Pick your match, pick your stake - and then follow the league in real time as the action unfolds. At full time, the top three managers in each group will share the cash.

Ive played this on and off for the last couple of years.
Started well and was up some £s but then my luck ran out.
Great fun game if you can afford losing a few quid a couple of nights a week.
And when you come 1st and take home £100+ it feels great

I was going to another team, I imagine with the World cup final being the only game of note tonight it has crashed.
