When is the inscription process going to close? I'd like to join, but I'm still discovering the world of fantasy football and don't want to ruin the game for everyone by doing beginner mistakes ; so, I don't want to take part in projects right now, but I might in a couple days.

You can join at any time of the season, but you'll have less chance to do well (to reach a good rank), if you miss the start of the season.
As it is not a team competition, you can't destroy the game for someone else.
In our mini-league we're 20 participants at the moment. The last entry was a couple of GWs ago. Maybe that's your team?

There are some parts of this game that I really like, others I can live without. Worth playing , it's keeping me informed of the Budesliga for sure!

Re: Fantasy Bundesliga
Easy to get 100 points in this.. feels good! Plus you can captain 3 players (although captain means 1.5x points)
Some good point-scoring avenues too, like duels, pass to shot, goal attempts etc.

My first draft for 20/21:
Horn, Kobel;
Davies (S), Upamecano, Stark, Lang, Doucouré;
Sancho, Sané (S), Sabitzer, G. Reyna, Taz;
Lewandowski (S), Haaland, Poulsen;
(S) = Starplayer, factor 1,5 for points in a single GW
Taz, Lang, Doucouré, Kobel seem to be not regular starters. Will have to change when obvious, who potential affordable replacements are. Lewandowski has an ownership of 76%!

No problem! If you manage to get one single point, then you'll stay in all season long. For those planning to have inactive teams I suggest to set Lewandowski as starplayer.
Maybe during the international breaks there could be time left for making some transfers?
I'm very interested to see, how the Dortmund youngsters Bellingham and G. Reyna (both 17) will do.

Re: Fantasy Bundesliga
I think I have to correct myself. I believe it doesn't work as it is at FPL, where you can set and forget a chosen captain until you change it. In Bundesliga Fantasy you have to renew every GW your starplayers. Not totally sure about this.

Re: Fantasy Bundesliga
Just changed back my goalkeepers to Timo Horn and Gregor Kobel as I think it might be better to have two cheaper GK's instead of one expensive. It's possible to change them during a matchday but not tomorrow, because they play at same time. A RB Leipzig quadruple was too much also.

Re: Fantasy Bundesliga
My first draft is:
Hradecky, Horn;
Guerreiro, Angelino, Hinteregger, Lienhart, Torunarigha;
Olmo, Kimmich, Zuber, Dorsch, Papela;
Lewandowski, Haaland, Forsberg;
I believe, this will rather be a ghost ship team this season, as I'll probably w'ont have enough time to play Bundesliga Fantasy actively.
Lewandowski and Haaland are must-haves I think.
For newcomers: If you want to achieve a good result, it's important to change your team during the matchday. You can change your team (you also need to choose a star-player per position which corresponds partialy to the captain in FPL) before a match starts.
If say on Saturday games start at 14:30 BST, you can already change your team and starplayers after these games took place and before the game that starts at 16:30 BST for example. But once having changed something, the points having won from the first players are lost (if you put them on the bench!, or if you change your starplayers you only get the points without the bonus) and you need to hope, the new players changed in will bring you more points. I hope it's understandable.

As much as I enjoy watching the Bundesliga, I suspect this team will take a backseat amongst all the games I’m playing this season.
Good luck to all playing.

Re: Fantasy Bundesliga
There are 21 players in our Fantasy Bundesliga mini league "FPL Experts" right now.
Some of them have a bronze star at the right from their team names. It means, these managers achieved a top1k rank last season. For a rank in the top100 you receive a silver and in top10 a golden star.
Best results last season in this league were:
1. Golden Times (rank 247.)
2. Werder Bremen Klasnić (319.)
3. Redmunich (509.) (overall winner in season 19/20)
4. AYT (530.)
5. American Outlaws (780.) (I know who it is )

Mini-League gets smaller - but still survives
There are 12 managers now in the Bundesliga Fantasy mini-league I've created five years ago. In the "best times" there were about 40 in.
So number on managers is decreasing from season to season but a consistent group of faithful members is participating every year again.
If you want to tinker about another fantasy team and join the mini-league, it's still possible at any time of the season. The mini-league is named "FPL Experts".

Fantasy Bundesliga
Mini-League result of the 2021/22 season
1. Redmunich 4320 (points)
2. Golden Times 4304
3. FPL SUM 4232
4. -Aufghets Zentner 4037
5. frattonender 4003
Unfortunately I didn't note the individual rankings.
Compared to the result of the 2020/21 season:
1. Golden Times (rank 247.)
2. Werder Bremen Klasnić (319.)
3. Redmunich (509.) (overall winner in season 19/20)
4. AYT (530.)
5. American Outlaws (780.)
Golden Times and Red Munich are clearly the favourites in this league and are able to reach outstanding OR rankings.
Most of the above teams are still in the league with the same team names. Some might be the same managers but with other squad names.
