Fantrax Premier Fantasy Football League
I will be running 4 Fantrax fantasy football leagues next season:-
Stanley Mathews Prize League - $45entrance fee – if 10 teams prize money 1st $200, 2nd $120, 3rd $80, 4th $50 – Premier League + FA & League Cups, Champions League & Europa League
Bobby Moore Prize League - $45entrance fee – if 10 teams prize money 1st $200, 2nd $120, 3rd $80, 4th $50 – Premier League only
Premier Fantasy League - $30 entrance fee – if 10 teams prize money 1st $130, 2nd $80, 3rd $50, 4th $40 – Premier League only
Fantasy Premier League - $20 entrance fee – if 10 teams prize money 1st $90, 2nd $50, 3rd $40, 4th $20 – Premier League only
I do not actually run the leagues, Fantrax do. I do not collect any entrance fees, these are paid directly to the Fantrax Treasurer. I do not pay out the prize money at the end of the season, this is again done by the Fantrax Treasurer. I am only involved in that I am the Commissioner of the leagues, a supervisory role, I set the leagues up and am the person who sorts out any problems when the leagues are running, even if I have to contact Fantrax to do this.
In the above leagues every team will be unique as no player can be in more than one team. An online Draft will be held approx one week before the start of the season to select the teams which will each have a squad of 18 players, 11 to be selected for each match day. One transfer can then be made each week during the season from the available pool of players.
If you are interested please contact me on nickcast@blueyonder.co.uk

Who are Fantrax?nickcast wrote:I will be running 4 Fantrax fantasy football leagues next season:-
The fees are paid direct to Fantrax who hold the money until prizes are paid out at the season end and importantly I do not take a cut for running the leagues, ALL the fees collected are paid out as prize money.
If you are interested please contact me on nickcast@blueyonder.co.uk
Why are they running this league with no costs covered?
Are they licensed?
What security is there for the money?
Why should anyone trust 'fantrax'?
Why would anyone here enter a competition run in dollars?
How will the league operate?
Where is the website?
Why is the main priority the money involved?

Nick,I think FISO residents much prefer to read and discuss things on the forum rather than by emailnickcast wrote:If you need full details of the scoring and how the competition is run please email me at nickcast@bueyonder.co.uk

Re: Fantrax Premier Fantasy Football League
The Fantrax leagues are run online - https://www.fantrax.com/
Leagues are limited to a maximum of 10 teams to give every team a chance of winning and ensure a decent pool of players available for transfer.
In the Fantrax leagues, every team will be unique as no player can be in more than one team. An online Draft will be held approx one week before the start of the season to select the teams which will each have a squad of 18 players, 11 to be selected for each matchday. One transfer can then be made each week during the season from the available pool of players.
The order of transfer picks will change week by week depending on league position. Bottom team in the league has first choice of transfer, top team in the league has last choice.
I have organised the leagues so that the top 4 of 10 teams will receive prizes. All fees collected will be returned as prize money. If you come lower in the league, I hope you will have still thoroughly enjoyed 9 months of fun and involvemant in the Premier League..

Re: Fantrax Premier Fantasy Football League
Fantrax is an online interactive sevice company who run games for many sports, mainly US based, but including golf and the English Premier League - https://www.fantrax.com/
Fantrax Terms of Service are available online - https://www.fantrax.com/terms-of-service
Fantrax have now been running for 9 years, i have used Fantrax for the past 3 years without a problem.
There is advertising on the web page but this is unobtrusive.
Games are ran by Fantrax free of charge although premier services are avalable at additional cost which are not used in the leagues I run. Having run Free to Enter Fantrax leagues in the past, I have found that introducing an entrance fee and prize money add interest to the competition.

Re: Fantrax Premier Fantasy Football League
I run numerous teams on Fantrax playing fantasy golf baseball and NFL. Very good site, very good experience. That said I've never played a money game on there. From my experience from one fisoer to any others, I'd vouch for Fantrax as a competent well run fantasy website.
Up to you though, I play all my money leagues using leaguesafe

Re: Fantrax Premier Fantasy Football League
I know 'of' nick, he's in a couple of my golf leagues. But Nick, what's letting you down here is coming on with a 28 post history asking for money in dollars to play on a site most are unfamiliar with. If you can't see why they're wary you're being very naive.nickcast wrote:Fantrax is an online interactive sevice company who run games for many sports, mainly US based, but including golf and the English Premier League - https://www.fantrax.com/

Re: Fantrax Premier Fantasy Football League
if fellow FISO players are wary because money is involved, I am quite happy to run a free to enter Fantrax league based on the Premier League. if players want to enter they need to say they are interested so that I can send invites. Any league would be limited to 10 teams maximum.

Link to forum rules along with required quote added to first postnickcast wrote:if fellow FISO players are wary because money is involved, I am quite happy to run a free to enter Fantrax league based on the Premier League. if players want to enter they need to say they are interested so that I can send invites. Even though you've not met all the required criteria for permission to promote a cash league nickcast I'll give a bit of leeway due to you being a member for so long and taking into account both Brian and Billy supporting you here.
But I will emphasise to anyone considering playing in this to think about the forum rules added to the OP, it is at your own risk!

Re: Fantrax Premier Fantasy Football League
If you can edit your first post so that potential entrants will see how that the leagues are run and that cash is held and distributed by the host site then you or I can then remove my edit to the first post as well. Thanks.nickcast wrote:I do not actually run the leagues, Fantrax do. I do not collect any entrance fees, these are paid directly to the Fantrax Treasurer. I'll probably enter a team in each of the three EPL only leagues, providing the drafts don't take place on the same day

A note to those who have signed up but not yet paid, do so soon! I believe it's the first ten to have paid that will get their league places.

Re: Fantrax Premier Fantasy Football League
Sorry if this is going against etiquette but not sure how else to do this. Just joined FISO so cant search properly or send individual emails . I'm trying to ask advice from Sport Billy . I see you are in leaguesafe and also from the U.K. . I'm also in this situation . I have won various amounts over the years and had no problem with leaguesafe paying out . This year however, they're holding back on paying out in my fantasy baseball league . They say its because I dont have a US or Canadian social security or insurance number . Its about $3,000 so its pretty upsetting . Halfway through the year I think a company called Fanball took over Leaguesafe . This might be the problem . Could you tell me if you have had any recent payout problems . If not , be careful going forward as to the legal status of UK players .
