Football Fanager - The Grand League Mark 2.

Post by CptPugwash »

Kicks off again this afternoon. Make sure you have the e-mail or message to hand, because I can't see another way into this league.
Don't think it could have kicked off with a more difficult set of fixtures, as no-one is odds on tonight.
I guess the most popular combo will be 3 COL / 3 ENG / 2or3 JAP / Suarez and the odd Greek or 2.
Hard to see anyone doing a Muller tonight, so maybe the best way to get off to a flyer is with the right mini-block at the back. Difficult to judge who is most likely to have a clean sheet. I'd say England if Suarez doesn't start, judging by Uruguay's woeful first game, otherwise possibly Japan.
Anyway I'm spreading my options with 2 Japs in a back 5 with 1 Random Greek, Johnson & Armero.

Anybody taking a left field approach to tonight's games.

I'm hoping the site will be faulty again as I plan to start with 11 Englishmen... Cook , Robson, Balance, Bell, Root, Moeen, Prior, Jordan, Broad, Plunkett and Anderson - just can't decide who to go as captain??? :P

As an aside, bit worried about Binky's team name. Not sure what he and Leon have been discussing, but it may be more than fantasy football!
