Yup - same here.

Now that I've mastered the new rules & cut off deadlines and the site has been tweaked to iron out the issues it's all been plain sailing at my end.

Regretting currently captaining Ronaldo over Muller at the moment tho :-(

Eh?

How did you find this out Chandler? It would explain why no points have been added but I've not heard anything about this (more miffed given my current league position!!!)

It's true, check your email.

Apparently the Grand League and other similar ones restart on Thursday. They've refunded all the entry fees plus the fee again as a kind of compensation.

Disappointing for me as I was near the top but if half the people have been limited to 3 transfers a day it made it a bit of farce. Half the tournament will be over by the time we finally get underway.....

Good afternoon Managers,

You are receiving this email because you've recently paid to be a member of our 'Fanager Fiver', 'The Ton League' and/or 'The Grand League'.

Since Saturday morning on the 14th of June, until 5pm that same day, part of our system had triggered a fault with the 'no limit and '3-per day' rules, allowing some users to make unlimited transfers, whilst others could only make 3 or none at all.

Whilst the fault was rectified and implemented on Saturday before 5pm for the free public leagues, some members of the paid cash leagues where still experiencing difficulties in making any transfers on Saturday and Sunday.

Now, we have the issue of managers complaining that they've fallen behind in this league, whilst those who can make unlimited changes are running away with the league, so, having spoken with the Gambling Commission this morning (Monday the 16th of June, 2014) and explained the technical errors to them, we have decided to issue and action the following:

A full refund to your account of any monies paid to enter the cash leagues mentioned above.

We will also double back your refund. So, if you paid £10 + £1 entry fee, we will refund your £11, plus, give you another £11 for you to withdraw or play with.

We will restart the relevant leagues from Thursday the 19th of June.

For some of you this is the news that you've been waiting for and for others, you'll be screaming at your screen, however, by re-starting the 3 cash leagues from Thursday the 19th of June, this gives all entrants an equal chance of winning the prize pools.

Also, please note that whilst we're giving you a full refund plus more, your re-entry to this league is FREE. Also, only the members who originally paid to join the three leagues will be eligible to join, so, keep an eye on your emails as we'll be sending you an invite link later today.

Once you've received your invite to the new league, you'll be able to join the league, free of charge and create a new starting eleven.

The rules for these 3 cash leagues will remain the same as when you first joined, with unlimited daily transfers, which need to be locked in and confirmed 15 minutes before the first game of the day, along with your confirmed captaincy selection. The transfer window each day will re-open after the last game of the day. The timer on our website will inform you of the exact time, each day.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused to you all and hope that the above has put a lot of your minds at rest.

For some, we know this will never be enough and therefore can only apologise again.

The monies we refund to you today will be available for withdrawal straight away.

Again, from all of us here at FootballFanager.com, we're sorry for the errors and hope that you continue to play and enjoy our game.

Best wishes,

Football Fanager

Cheers Art.

I haven't had an email with an invite link on either so will give them a shout about this tomorrow.

One side of me is pretty miffed, but the other is kinda satisfied with the move they've made as I think it's probably right and fair all round.

Oh well back to the drawing board I guess and now I couldn't give a monkeys if the USA bag a hatful against Ghana tonight!

If you look on the dashboard screen in the middle on the right there's a messages box. You should have messages about the new leagues in there and you can join them via the message/s 8-)

Hi,

Does anyone know how the transfer limit works. I'm in a private league with a transfer limit of 10 but someone in the league has already done 12 transfers?

Best ask the support team chris with a similar name to me!

I think they have done the right thing with the paid leagues.. making them free and double refunding the entry fee is a very nice gesture for the cockups. Hopefully now all is smoothed out so we can enjoy the game in the prem next season :)

Does that not mean a max of 10 transfers per day rather than 10 for the tournament?

That had crossed my mind (the instruction aren't clear at all) but that would mean that you can alter the number of Transfers for each day but not for the whole comp as there is only one setting, so you would have no other option than unlimited transfers for the competition which doesn't really make sense.

Let me say again that Leon has been fantastic, the guys on the phone have been very helpful. The way fanager have gone about rectifying the issues by doing things right and going through the gambling commission first, and coming up with a solution that makes the best of a bad situation is a lesson that most of the long term providers of fantasy football could well learn from.

Well done, just a shame everything wasn't working perfectly from the start, because this has the potential to be the best football fantasy site out there.

Cheers Art - wasn't getting any messages through either so your reply didn't make much sense at the time! :D

That said, got a call from Leon yesterday and he explained that for some reason my email wasn't recorded at their end - it's now fixed and the email (& message!) invite has been received - sadly it looks like I'll have to guess at tomorrow's line-ups in advance (unless the car passes its MOT for some miracle!), but nonetheless there's still plenty of action ahead of us, so here's to a good battle over the next few weeks. 8-)

Having issues making changes to my 11 for the restart of the Grand League tonight - I know at least one other manager on Fiso is having the same problems, is anyone else? I keep getting the message 'You do not have enough transfers to complete these changes'.

Have dropped them an email in the hope they will fix soon!

quick bug message for Leon.

My team in the Ladbible league - Lampooning Laddettes had a team value of £209.62M and a transfer kitty of £12.38M. I think I have somehow bust my budget and the team value is correct, bit baffling why I have a transfer kitty of £12.38M Left

Just done transfers to bring my team under budget. Team value now £186.38M. However I now have a transfer kitty of £35.62M.

Not that it concerns me, as I'm unlikely to come anywhere near the top of any league. However a bit disconcerting that teams can randomly bust budgets.

EDIT:
Seems to be happening in a few.
Plundering Pundits in the Pundits League.
Team Value £199.09M Transfer Kitty £59.19M

After the Colombia game, i went to check the clean-sheet rule.

i.e. a) what happens if your team keeps a clean sheet, but your chap gets subbed. How long does he have to play to get the clean sheet bonus.
b) what happens if your team hasn't conceded a goal when your chap gets subbed, but the team then concede a goal.

Now i know neither of the above actually influence your team selection, but i couldnt find any rules pertaining to this anywhere on the site. Would be nice to actually have all the rules available.

It's really unfair because that player was able to get messi in yesterday without any trouble where as the rest of us gambled on either messi and not much else or having a balanced team. They were able to put in everyone and as a result went top of the league. If it is not sorted, we will have a job to catch as he can just look at our teams and put in everyone as a collective where as we have to decide on a limited combination

In the World Cup League I am running two identical teams, just varying the captains. As of today one has about £3.7m in the bank, the other around £90m! It's all over the place. :-(

Didn't spot the budget issue you mentioned in the Grand League, but if that's true, then I would suggest it's not a level playing field again, in breach of Gambling Commission rules, and it may be another restart!!!
