Thanks, I won't get my hopes up then :(

I asked them what the prize was and the first time they replied randomly telling me they don't reveal the names of the winners, then the second time provided a link to the page I'd already told them didn't have the information on. I wonder what the third reply will bring.....

Well on the plus side, my prize arrived without having to chase it, and it was a total surprise, as I hadn't realised was doing well in that particular month (might have been november) - though on the minus side, it was a rubbish prize. Have given up on that one now, a couple of other sm games still to go for though, and did pick up a power drill from the tradepoint game. You might try phoning silentmanager directly to see if they could chase up - top prize for a month would probably be worth a hundred sovs or more, if you have any use for maximuscle products that is.

Well, I haven't won it yet  and the midweek postponements haven't helped. I found I was top in a couple of monthlies so thought I'd try and find out what the prizes were, and also if it's worth targetting them in future now I'm too far back in the main game. I wasn't expecting it to be so hard to find out....

Shame the maximuscle monthlies aren't better as the main prizes are pretty good for an SM game.

Prizes for SM games are totally up to whoever is doing the promoting - just wish there was more cash offered, rather than vouchers or whatever, so it goes. SM actually put up their own prize (an ipad, as far as i know it's not sponsored, they just like to run at least one game maybe to show other stuff that they can do) for their euro wide game.

I won in either Dec or Jan and the prize was a £100 maximuscle voucher.

Thanks.

(I had a third reply from SM and they finally admitted they didn't actually know)

Anyone heard anything about any Silent Manager games for this season?

Doesn't seem to be any life on any of the ones from last year.

Aside from the Dad's League in the MOTD game and the Football League squad based game (which has nightmare written all over it!) I've spotted nothing.

Was hoping the Chroma input may have brought on a splurge, but now fear that they may have bought into SM for their address book, rather than their games functionality. :-(

I had a go at that MOTD one, stopped halfway through just to check the rules, and found a load of nonsense about extra transfers and doubling your score with MOTD magazine weekly codes and stuff, so just gave up :(

The SM games do tend to launch in secret and quite late so I'll keep an eye out.

As mentioned elsewhere (the championship game thread) no sm/chroma "proper" premier games yet, just seen a couple of prediction games for JD sports and a computer company. The motd bonus points with codes etc. were indeed at the instigation of the magazine, to encourage sales. Far too much like hard work. Once sm have a couple of games ready they will send an email out (advertising the public ones, not necessarily company games that some of us might be eligible to join as well depending on what you do in real life) - though it's a generic mail and sometimes includes games for other markets (most often australia).
