Hey NateDogg, we've got similar players for this weekends matches so I thought I'd do a comparison:

Nate: J Collins / Konchesky / Shawcross / Fabregas / Bent

For me, Collison seems out of favour at the moment but the rest are pretty much assured starters. For you, Shawcross is suspended, Fabregas is doubtful and Konchesky is fighting to get his place back in the team after injury. All our players have decent fixtures though, so I expect it to be a close match.

Jules is using the bitter disappointment of last season to spur him on. Another week, another win. Nate registers a decent score, but its not enough to fend off Jules.

One time high flier Pa is on a Leeds like slump. After back to back relegations, hes on the verge of infamy. This week he is beaten by Demorgoth by a measly 3 points. Demorgoth experiencing the exact same heartache last time out.

I thought I was almost guaranteed a win but after Tevez' hat-trick last night I have managed to lose by a massive 11 points! Well played Demorgoth.

Faye came off with a knee injury so he will probably be out for the next few games to add to my injury list. It looks like my La Log season is seriously coming off the rails!

It has now officially come off the rails now that Rooney is injured

3/10 teams in Div 2 don't have Rooney. Out of my 4 remaining fixtures, I play 2 of those teams, having already played the weakest of those 3 (eddieb). bigger.

He still has a chance of not finishing last though; With Grob (8) and SOBD (9) facing each other next weekend... Eddie B has a real chance of avoiding infamy. Although next weekend he faces promotion chasing Nate.

The promotion race is a 7 horse race at the moment. Pa (1st) plays Tom (3rd) next time out in what could start Pa's remarkable recovery (after 2 consecutive relegations prior to this season).

according to your league table Zim,I've got 9 pts now, (SOBD has 6), and I'm only 3pts off 3rd place,following my victory over Jules.
It's very tight at the top (as the actress said to the bishop) - but I'm aiming to win the league. Is this too ambitious ?
(it seems to be an 8 horse race now ? )

Only one matter is so far resolved (Eddie B finishing rock bottom).

Pa and Natedogg are odds on to go up (based on their opponents) but who will be champion? If one of them does unexpectedly get beat, then Jules is waiting in the wings.
