After 9 straight wins, yours truly has managed to halt the runaway train that is Suzykins.
With the Ton losing the top of the table clash with the newly promoted Doc, things are a little closer, but its still pretty much a 3 horse race.

Week 4
The Doc 26 - 21 TheTon
Chrissie1986 23 - 16 Takeshi Kovacs
Suzykins 30 - 30 Zimmerman
Dr Bell 25 - 34 Miles_T
Mistercuts 29 - 30 sdhough

Table to follow

Week 5 19th Dec
sdhough - The Doc
Miles_T - Mistercuts
Zimmerman - Dr Bell
Takeshi Kovacs - Suzykins
TheTon - Chrissie1986

Indeed - I'm on a bit of a downward spiral though, so you might have an easy time of it.

Another week and another win for the Doc. The only team still with a 100% record.
This weeks victim is one time champ, SDHough.

At the other end of the spectrum is Dr Bell on 0 points (one of two La Log teams with this unwanted title). This week he finds himself crushed by a resurgent Zimmerman.

In the Stokies Derby, Suzykins triumphs over the spiralling Takeshi.

Despite a mediocre performance, The Ton still has enough in the tank to see off the fallen giant that is Chrissie. Like Samson and his hair, Mrs Bell has gone right down the swanny since being referred to by her real name.

Week 5
sdhough 35 - 41 The Doc
Miles_T 42 - 38 Mistercuts
Zimmerman 43 - 16 Dr Bell
Takeshi Kovacs 20 - 27 Suzykins
TheTon 25 - 17 Chrissie1986

Phase 2 - Week 6
Owing to the extraordinary weather (and the fact only 2 games have been played, this weeks La Log fixtures (league and cup) have been cancelled.

Rescheduling it is tricky so here is the solution;

We will use the midweek fixtues at the end of the month.
However - 4 teams dont have a game (Man U, Hull, Man City and Stoke).
Therfore we will use the Carling Cup game between Man U and Man C (from the 19th). Hull and Stoke will not have a fixture :(

I have tried to look at other possibilities (using FA Cup games etc) but cannot see a fairer alternative.

Stoke will possibly be the biggest hit, but I cant imagine many being affected by Hull's lack of fixture.

Remaining Fixtures
16-Jan (also cup L16)
26-Jan* (also cup quarters)
30-Jan (and the cup semis)
06-Feb (and cup final)

* and the Man City v Man Utd Carling Cup fixture from the 19th

I've been done up. 3 Stoke players, one hull player. I wouldn't be surprised if my remaining 7 players pick up less than the 15 points I actually managed this weekend, with only 2 players playing (Baines and Rooney) FIX!!! It was all going well until this happened.

Seems the Doc is a bit premature in his praise for Chrissie (unless i've ballsed it up again).

He maintains his 100% record with a 6 point victory over relegation dodging Chrissie.

Not one to give up without a fight, Suzykins maintains his unbeaten record (now 12 games without defeat).

Week 6
The Doc 39 - 33 Chrissie1986
Suzykins 51 - 32 TheTon
Dr Bell 43 - 42 Takeshi Kovacs
Mistercuts 40 - 56 Zimmerman
sdhough 30 - 47 Miles_T

Week 7

Takeshi Kovacs - Mistercuts

Its now mathematically a two horse race.
The Doc maintains his 100% record thanks to a 1 point winning margin over Miles.
Not to be out done, Suzykins continues his unbeaten run with a comfortable victory over relegation candidate Chrissie.

Any 2 from 5 can still go down. The current bottom two have a real fighting chance though.

Takeshi faces sdhough next week and with victory, he'll leap frog him.
Similarly - its the Chez Bell derby... with Dr Bell looking for victory (which would leave Chrissie in the mire).

Week 7
Miles_T 36 - 37 The Doc
Zimmerman 39 - 33 sdhough
Takeshi Kovacs 16 - 30 Mistercuts
TheTon 30 - 30 Dr Bell
Chrissie1986 18 - 38 Suzykins

Only just noticed that. A win for the Doc and he lifts the title. A win for you and it goes to the final game. Both of you unbeaten for the season.... something has got to give (with only 2 draws out 35 games so far, thats unlikely isnt it)?

Very close....

Both promoted last season; both unbeaten this season; both vying for the title;
The match was decided by a solitary point (48-47) in Suzy's favour.
Now heading the league by a single point with one game to play.

Dr Bell lost the derby game (again) and is looking ominoulsy at relegation.
The odds are against him, but he can stay up.

Week 8
The Doc 47 - 48 Suzykins
Dr Bell 48 - 57 Chrissie1986
Mistercuts 32 - 39 TheTon
sdhough 33 - 35 Takeshi Kovacs
Miles_T 42 - 30 Zimmerman

All good things come to those who wait... well, they do if you're Suzykins; waiting for another 6 months isnt going to help Takeshi or Dr Bell.

Congratulations to Suzykins. He finishes the season unbeaten and champion. Promoted last season and sweeping all before him in the Prem.

Commiserations to the aforementioned Takeshi Kovacs and Dr Bell.
Both of them we're unable to stop the rot on the final day. You have to say that Dr Bell was unfortunate to face the opponents he did, when he did. If he'd had the Ton's fixtures or even Suzy's, he might have stood a chance.

Week 9
Zimmerman 21 - 39 The Doc
Takeshi Kovacs 30 - 54 Miles_T
TheTon 40 - 28 sdhough
Chrissie1986 28 - 28 Mistercuts
Suzykins 33 - 29 Dr Bell
