There's a 4 way tie at the top of the table. Three of whom are all eligible for promotion.
Karrde and Erased Citizen go head to head next weekend.

At the bottom, Grob has joined an elite group of 4. No, not the Beatles. Not Abba and not Rod Stewart's ex wives. He's one of just 4 La Log managers yet to register a point.

well,being still without a single point despite the achievements of Torres et al makes me think I'll have to investigate what's going on in here when I get time - especially as that Thai bloke is next on my list

I think your investigations will prove one thing - you're damn unlucky. First week you lost by a ton, but the other 3 weeks you lost by 2 points, 2 points, and 3 points this week. If one of your players every week had gotten a 7 instead of a 6 then you'd have 7 points and be in 4th place on goal difference
(I'd have 7 (-2 for win changed to draw), Karrde would have 6 (-3 for win to loss))

edit : as our teams are very similar,it's not that surprising we've drawn 51-51 I think

Having spent just one week at the top, Demorgoth succumbs to an embarrassing defeat. Just the one point scored for him... he drops from 1st to 4th as Karrde takes over pole position.

you've got to love the sun game mate, but only in mates mini leagues and side comps like La Log. People like sanjay/deauville ruin the main game with their 3000+ teams. La Log is good fun and well run, Zimm gets the scores up pretty quickly and you know where you are. Unless of course he decides 3 days before the transfer window to change it to the monday or something

I still think i'll enter 10-15 teams next year but I get most fun out of works leagues and La Log...being top in both does help

is this your first season in sun dream team? Are you generally doing rubbish and not enjoying it. This is my first season in FPL and the telegraph and i'm absolutely knowwhere in either thus not that into it but, i'm hoping to learn a bit and come back next year with a better team - thats the plan anyway

The sun is my main game. On a side note whats is Fitba?

aye, first season, 2 teams on 434 and 416. 6th and 12th in a 64 team league and 80points behind the leader. The problem is.. there isn't much I can do about it! whereas in TFF I generally do well with my transfers and would be confident I could make up an 80point gap, I don't have the ability to do so in the DT. Used my 3 transfers there to ship out the dross and replace with regular points scorers, bar that it's just a waiting game till the next transfer window, not enough involvement for my style of management I suppose.

yeah I suppose so. A couple of injuries can ruin your season, it makes luck a major factor. If you have cattermole/murphy in your team your going to struggle.

absolutely. Luck is a factor in all the FF games but there is more reliance on it in this game, whereas in others you can use a bit of skill/knowledge to help out

So Zimm, if the top two of the existing teams will form division 1, does that mean that the next two newly created teams will also make the division 1 proper? In that case does that mean that Luton and myself only need 1 point - current both on 15pts to secure that division 1 spot as barry is on 9pts and the closest newbie?

Sorry DC, only just seen this;

the two highest "existing" teams will be promoted to the Championship.

The two lowest finishing Championship teams will drop into Division 1.

The rest of Division 1 will be made up of the teams with the highest points totals from both 1a and 1b.
