No problemo.
Isn't it weird this year? Last year seemed to be much more consistent (consistently bad for me) in terms of weekly totals. This year I seem to be having teams where i can get 10pts one week and 80 the next.

Very weird ~ I had 4 teams in the top 100 overall at the January window last year scoring regularly big (55+) pts per week ~ I'll be lucky to have 4 in the top 100,000 this year!!

Im glad Im not the only feeling like that. Ive been swinging from single digit points, up to 50-70 many weeks. It just gives me enough good weeks to get me hoping (in my works minileague) and then chucks me back down the table with some woeful points hauls.

God of football, why do you taunt me...

I'm up against Takeshi this week , and I don't feel too optimistic.
Taking out common players we're left with - (my players first)

Hannehman v Howard
Carvalho v Distin
Sagna v Laursen
Clichy v Riise
Arteta v Ronaldo , Elano
Rooney v Berbatov

I think these are the scores, let me know if you disagree :-

Week 2 - 03-Nov
Dr Bell 47 - 19 Andi_Jones
Kid Kongo 37 - 21 Rainycat
Takeshi Kovacs 51 - 33 TheTonArmy
Qadesh 25 - 27 Miles_T
Mrs Bell 54 - 41 Karrde

If these are correct, I'll do the table in a bit.

I can't do anything about the number of points I'm conceding, that's the luck of the draw.

Unless RVP makes a freak recovery, looks like im good. Just need Rosicky to put a few extra nails in the Quadesh coffin and boost my GD.

Thanks for all the input andi!

My average mid-thirties per week are doing the business after a first week loss to the Ton...surprised I've scored so well with RVP, Ashton, Bale etc..etc ...all missing. So many injuries at the last transfer window decided to get my midfield set (Fab...Gerrard and Ronaldo) sorted this time and concentrate on my frontline in Feb...not ideal but then after all of the injuries this year it's little wonder ....anyway, when the Ton's in the Top 100 nationally you know the whole games gone to pot!

]....well done btw Ton! 8-)

hmm.

Thought id be up in my game against Mrs Bell, with Gerrard, Rosicky and Agbonlahor doin the business for me, only to find she has Laursen, Gerrard and Anelka. I still have Keane to come, but Mrs Bell has Bellamy and J Cole.

Interesting one. :?

Anelka looks like a shoe in for star man plus possible NOTW bonuses.

Week 4
Going into the weekend, Mrs Bell was top. She's been convincingly beaten by The Toon Army (bad time to be a Newcastle fan)

This has allowed Takeshi Kovac to take full advantage as he is rewarded for a hard earned victory over the hapless Andi. For the second time in 4 games he is beaten by just 5 points.

There is some hope though, Qadesh is only 1 point ahead and he too is without a win.

Results
Dr Bell 35 - 32 Kid Kongo
Takeshi Kovacs 45 - 40 Andi_Jones
Qadesh 40 - 53 Rainycat
Mrs Bell 32 - 42 The Ton
Karrde 31 - 27 Miles_T

Cant you let me win in peace you mean old bustard

I tell you what though - i take more pleasure out of Newcastle being shite, than i do winning my log matches!! Seriously!!

Being mistaken for a toon fan over and over for a couple of months was the most harrowing experience of my life!!

Think i may have just sneaked this one Karrde. Both have Evra and Ronaldo to come. Looks like it just came down to Lampard V Gerrard. If Finnan had played, you may well of won it - thats how close it is.

No help from me this week, I thought I was doing ok after Keanes double. then the git got sent off (unjustly) and Mrs bells got loads of star men bonuses
Only a miracle return from Rooney will save me a thrashing.
