hi rich,

i did my teams in a few seconds and the transfers in less!!

bringing in touzani who i didn't have time to check and was doubtful for the game. he hasn't been sighted since  hamstring. so if you can stay there with all those injuries it's easy enough for me with a few seconds study and one player injured virtually throughout the game

Touzani would also be one of my injuries, in virtually every team, only I have had him since day one, he's earned me 2pts  .

Any ideas what the leading team's eleven would be for this?

I don't know whether to get rid of Kris Boyd or not. He scores when he plays but doesn't seem to be flavour of the month and is often on the bench.

Ever get deja vu ? Just as the transfer window approaches Touzani is mentioned again as nearly fit, maybe back next week  . Difficult to replace for the same sort of price, but a risk to keep in, decisions decisions  .

Last week I had easy strategy of 3 players needing changing. Suddenly it became a difficult decision with the demise of Killen, but he was good while he lasted. Now of course Doyle has belatedly opted out but hopefully most of the top teams have him.

Thank's pa102aw, that's the Mini league table I presume you are talking about, I can't take that much credit for that, I only have the one team in that top 5 now, most of the credit goes to Graham and Oldbighead at the moment, who have both been doing great guns lately. As for the overall, let's see the table after this weekend before we get too carried away, I haven't got a massive SPL presence in that team. :)

Leaderboard teams Uncovered

With the final transfer window out of the way we might as well reveal our final teams involved in the title race.

I only have the one with any chance:

Ricks Rovers

Player XI Sub G KC CS GC YC RC MotM Score
E Van der Sar 16 0 0 0 4 15 0 0 1 39
A Cole 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 2
R Carvalho 28 0 2 1 15 17 6 0 2 106

C Ronaldo 27 1 16 15 11 0 1 0 9 227

K Doyle 23 3 10 2 0 0 0 0 1 96
J Sutton 11 3 2 1 0 0 0 0 0 35

Transferred out players

Player XI Sub G KC CS GC YC RC MotM Score

L Saha 14 1 6 1 0 0 1 0 1 57
M King 8 0 2 1 0 0 0 0 1 29

All my plans for the final transfer window were blown out of the water when Neville got injured just before the window. Was originally going to change Sidwell for Adam and, one of Naylor or Taylor (both of whohm had been doing nothing) for a cheap defender so I could upgrade Sutton. After the injury I changed my mind and changed all defenders. This may have been a mistake as It looks like, I wrongly thought Ehiogu would be first choice. One of the reasons I changed my mind was the lack of good replacements for Sutton in the under 3.5 million mark.

Hopefully Graham and Oldbighead will post thier top teams as well, and of course any others in contention. It will make the final matches all the more exciting if we know what we are up against.

Good luck all.

Hey there Rich,

its definately a good idea that we reveal our teams at this time of year so as to take the guess work out of the last few weeks.

I've been away at the cricket for the last couple of weeks so haven't really been staying on top of things, i'd narrowed down my choices before i went but still had a few decisions to make, unfortunately at this point it looks like i've made the wrong calls.

I wanted to bring Matt Taylor in as i assumed everyone would already have him in their teams but couldnt be sure if he'd be starting the rest of the season (so i left him out and took him out the two teams he was in)......two goals later at 8 points a piece and it looks a poor choice.

The defenders i wanted to bring in were Toure, Weir, and Ricky C. Unfortunately i couldnt really afford them unless i went with John Rankin in midfield (who again i wasnt sure would start)......again as it turns out i wouldve liked him in now and could then have had Weir or Ricky C.

It looks like you've had a huge weekend you've already gained approx 30 points on me. I'm frightened to look at the tables on Tuesday when thyre updated as i couldve gone from 2nd to not far off 10th.

i'm comforting myelf with teh fact that if things can swing so far against me in two week then they can swing back in my favour in the next 5??????

At least i'm still doing ok in the Midlands Fantasy Football.

My top two teams are as follows:

E Van der Sar 27 0 0 0 11 19 0 0 1 85
M Hart 25 0 0 2 8 23 4 1 1 53
D van Zanten 2 0 0 0 0 3 0 0 0 1
M Reynolds 2 0 0 0 1 1 0 0 0 6
P Bardsley 13 0 1 0 6 11 1 1 2 47
F Lampard 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 3
S Fletcher 7 1 1 0 4 0 0 0 0 25
C Ronaldo 27 1 16 15 11 0 1 0 9 227
D Drogba 17 2 10 0 0 0 5 0 4 83
K Boyd 8 0 9 1 0 0 1 0 2 59
J Vennegoor of Hesselink 7 2 7 1 0 0 1 1 1 45

I too have been abroad last week and just catching up with things.
This contest looks like being very interesting and I will post my teams when I have time later this afternoon but suffice it to say I dropped Taylor from my second team for the second time this season, once again just before he started scoring loads.............and combined this inspiration with discarding Nakamura for Robson!
My decisions for my first team are more similar to Rich's.

I hope you dropped Barton as well Graham. But i've got a sneaky feeling that you didn't.

As always with Fantasy Football it's Coulda Woulda Shoulda. :? .

Now i'm really dreading looking at the updated table as evryone seems to have both Ricky C and David Weir, not to mention Barton. Just hoping beyond hope that the leader doesn't have them.

Good luck the rest of the way fellas.

The leader does have Carvalho and also Taylor unless he got rid of him (for Weir?)
