With Real Madrid closing in on the energetic Bale with a staggering offer of £100 million plus and £180,000 a week, you have to ask if he'll be a regular in the squad and to how he'll fit in?
It's known that Ronaldo is in no hurry to sign a new contract and Man Utd is once again alleged to be leading the hunt for the skilled striker.
At Tottenham, Bale had a good idea of where people in his team would be positioned and knew also that they would make movements that allowed him to capitalise on probing runs which stretched defences to the max. At Real, would he be given the same opportunities, would his team mates click on, would he need to be broken in and learn their style of play and more importantly to those with him in their side, would he be first choice and find the goals and assists that made him a marvel at Tottenham?

You'd think he wouldn't be the main star all the time but his innate ability would shine through. Whether this happens answered the question of him starting regularly. As always the proof in the pudding is in the eating so he can be transfered in if not started with.

I only go by what I hear from the Horses mouth, and if the SSN interview with AVB is anything to go by, Levey is either lying to him or he is going nowhere and Spurs are about to start playing Hardball.

Here's something I never picked up on earlier and looking to see if anyone can answer this;
If you're playing the Daily Mirror Fantasy Football where you're allowed only one European footballer in your squad, if Real Madrid do buy Bale and you already had a Euro player in your line up (Messi for example), what happens next?
Is it a bonus or a calamity?

I'm wanting to know the answer to this question. Don't have Messi or any other Euro players at the moment...Declan wrote:Here's something I never picked up on earlier and looking to see if anyone can answer this;

Strikers who move from the English Premier League to a club in any of the European Leagues included in the game (Italy’s Serie A, Spain’s La Liga, France’s Ligue 1 and Germany’s Bundesliga) may be included in the European Strikers list at the discretion of the Game Judges. If a Player is not included in the European Strikers list after their transfer they will not continue to score points within the game.
