Cheers. Will probably be drafting my sides tomorrow so will be too late to wait for that. Will have to do my own homework (I’ve bought their book already) was just hoping to take advantage of the latest/predicted teams and maybe some betting odds.

Avoid the Times 64-page pull out. Might as well have bought Shoot.
Ha! Just bought The Times whilst shopping with the missus. That bad?

The Totally Football Show Podcast have just released their group previews if they’re any interest to you. I enjoy their podcast so will be listening while I select my teams this afternoon.

It might still be worth getting the supplement as it provides a decent summary of possible starting XIs and is far easier to digest than the book. I've found that the Racing Post (01933 304 858 weekdays only) very helpful when phoning them. Even if it comes after you've selected your teams, you can still use it for fine tuning during the amnesty and during the tournament for transfers. It's always my main source of reference when I'm in a rush to make transfers.

I was doubly annoyed because I specifically went to booths for it, because I get it free. Stupid me (and I do this most weekends), I went in the Mrs’ car and my booths card is on MY car keys.

World Cup Guide in weekly Racing & Football Outlook is a worthy alternative to last Thursday's Racing Post version.
Out today (Tues) and priced at £2.60, its 32 pages include up to date team form and other stats, plus two facing sheets of appearance & goal figures for every player, ie
for club in 2017-18, in qualifying WC matches and all internationals.
No forecast of Best XI though.

I've consistently missed this but have got my local newsagent to reserve me a copy this time.

(I know you can order it online but I like to support my local shops where I can)

Do you think this is still available and can be ordered online? I'm abroad right now and will be for the next couple of months so I can't just go on the street and buy it.

2020-21 season

Post by SamD »

Today's 64-page Big Kick-Off pullout is better than usual, imo, possibly because it's published four days before season begins (rather than two-plus weeks in the past).

Beside each EPL club's player stats and possible starting XIs, new feature also analyses expected goals xG and points, xPts. Obviously, football transfers this week aren't taken into account.

Does anyone know if it's possible to buy a physical copy of this on-line? I can never find the Racing Post in a shop near me. In years gone by I have always ordered a copy on-line but can't seem to find it this time.
