I have entered a team in Stan James Fantasy Football. Don't know much about it, just made a team up. hoping not many people have entered.

The overall winner will receive £10,000 cash and the runner-up will receive £5,000 cash.

ENTRY DEADLINES:

In order to score points for the full duration of the game, entry must have been recorded no later than 12pm Saturday 15th August 2009 (BST). Any team entered after the above deadline will score points from the next scheduled match after the entry is received. (So teams entered this morning will score for MU & Liv matches).

You are allocated 25 transfers to use over the course of the season and, to prevent you from using all your transfers straight away, are restricted to making five transfers each month.

Transfers can be made at any time, but in order to score points from a player's next match you need to complete the transfer before the scheduled kick off time of the match in question

Your team must stay within the £55 million budget, have no more than two players from any one Premier League club and use either a 4-4-2 or 5-3-2 formation.

You should trust Man.City defence this season.It will be very good value in various FF games, especially Dunne(perhaps Given as well) in OFL games.

After creating my team this morning I then noticed in Admin's post that we need to have a Stan James a/c to be able to qualify for prizes and I set up the account (which I'm not going to use) about half an hour after I'd submitted my team.

Based on the above is my team valid or invalid for this competition's prizes ...

shouldn't be a problem - so long as you have an account by the end of the season, if they run it like other similar competitions over the last few seasons (by different companies , eg i think it was betdirect got bought by stanjames 2 years back) - they want your business, after all. And if you're in line to win £10k, you won't mind dropping a few quid on a speculative bet first. Got to try and win it first though.
