If I'm in doubt early in the season, more in private leagues maybe, I look at average form and that 19/5 hard trainer is going to sail up to AF+1DV with early cup games!

Good luck!

missed out on so many 16/3 defenders, going for more than 2x value.... did buy a 17/4 with speed before finally securing a 16/3 allrounder, good header. cost nearly 5.5m for both, got 4m of that back from selling the keeper. will try offload one of the other two as well but no bids on the midfielder so far.

other teams in the league look good, a few that are full of 13/14 skill players but also a few with an average age of 30.... will not be troubling the top of the table though, and avoiding relegation has to be my realistic aim.

had first leg of cup game and got an easy draw, 4-0 up after away leg.

3.4m in bank, I'll endeavour to submit a press article every week!

I see no way forward for that team, no cash, getting hammered every week, dv + form both the pits...

Get rid of all the deadwood, sell an asset or two and rebuild from scratch?

I know you like the league so maybe a decent challenge awaits you?

I might, that seems to be the part of the game that holds most "interest" for me, I do tend to lose it after a while.... Liking this public team though, so that's keeping my focus.

I agree. The building is the fun part, as there is less pressure on winning games if you know what I mean.

The trick is winning things and keeping a conveyor going in the long run.

If you want any advice, you just need to shout mate :)

I'll take all advice and put it into public team, and practise what I learn on the bourbons! relelgation is a cert anyway, will try get a few 16y olds in and play them the rest of the season.
