Welcome to Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Football.

'This season we're giving you the chance to manage a team of 11 Premier League superstars in pursuit of glory and possibly even the first prize of £20,000!

The game is completely FREE to play and we are giving you a cool £55m to assemble your team.

You can only enter one team into the game. You must use your own email address as your Username. Any manager with multiple teams will only be allowed to retain the first team entered.

The competition is open to UK residents only

Entrants must be aged 18 or over

The Game is only open to persons residing in a country where the Game is not prohibited or otherwise unlawful.

Your team must contain no more than two players from any one Barclays Premier League club and must conform to a 4-4-2 or 5-3-2 formation.

A 4-4-2 formation consists of one goalkeeper, two full-backs, two centre-backs, four midfielders and two strikers.

A 5-3-2 formation consists of one goalkeeper, two full-backs, three centre-backs, three midfielders and two strikers.
The total cost of your team cannot exceed the £55m budget

From the first scheduled kick-off of the Rock & Roll Fantasy Football game, until the end of the Barclays Premier League season, points are awarded to players in Premier League matches only on the following basis:

Event Points Details
Goal 3
Assist 2
Goalkeeper/Defender Appearance 1 (must play 45 mins or more)
Goalkeeper/Defender Clean Sheet 3 (must play 75 mins, inc. 1 pt for appearance)
Goalkeeper/Defender Goal Against -1

Transfers
If your team isn't performing as you would like, it's easy to switch players in and out. Prior to the start of scoring at 12.45BST on 11th August 2007, unlimited changes can be made to your team. Once scoring for the game is underway, you can make a maximum of 25 transfers in total. To help ensure that you use your resources wisely, you can only use a maximum of 5 transfers in any one calendar month. So, one more time... that’s 25 transfers in total for the season and no more than 5 transfers can be used in any one calendar month.

Transfers can be made at any time. Any transfers made after a scheduled kick-off/whilst a match is in progress will simply take effect for the next match.

Season Prizes:
1st Prize: £20K cash
2nd Prize: £3K cash
3rd Prize: £2K cash

Monthly Prizes:
The highest scoring manager at the end of each month will bag a cool £1K cash.'

Just looking at the rules.

Is there a transfer cutoff at the start of every day? Or is it at the start of every game?

Could i say have players playing in a 2pm kick off on Sunday and a 4pm kickoff?

The wording didnt seem all that clear.

Same as all OFL games and it very clear above

Transfers can be made at any time. Any transfers made after a scheduled kick-off/whilst a match is in progress will simply take effect for the next match.

Guys, this is latest league entries.
Just want to clarify something. I'm on holiday from Thursday and won't be back until after the season starts. In terms of entries are are we happy to accept all up until the sunderland/spurs match on the 11th. After this no entries allowed ? I get notified by email when someone has requested to join the league and I guess they should also post on here to let al know they have as well.
Does this seem fair ?

I've only just seen this, and others may also have missed it,or just aren't bothered one way or the other.

Personally,as there's no prize on offer for best minileague as far as I know, and unlike some Silent Manager competitions, it's not a case of our minileague being compared with others on the basis of the average score of all the teams in it, I don't see any need to close the entrance gates at k'o on 11th August and thus potentially deny admittance to Fiso newbies for example.

I think we left entry open in the Daily Mail comp last season to anyone who came along during the season.
Not many will want to join the minileague,if they've joined the competition late, and thus automatically start at the bottom of the league.

On the other hand, maybe there ought to be a deadline at some stage just to prevent some smartass coming along, who's been in from the start, but wasn't prepared to join the league until they found themselves doing well, and could see that they'd come in at the top of the league, putting out of joint the noses of those jostling for position at the top all season. Thoughts, anyone else ?

Evidently,no-one told hammerddh that if he volunteered for the job of gatekeeper,he wouldn't be able to go off on holiday, even before the season's started, and keep people like Tom Marshall and his terrors sweating on the result of his application until the season's underway !
