Indeed. I entered a team several days ago but didn't feel the need to tell everyone about it. However, just to keep tclist happy, I have an announcement to make:

I have entered

;)
Thanks Art, you have made me happy

So will anyone/everyone else who gives the thread a bump when they post they've joined/entered. 8-)

i'm in - pending, and happy to give this a bump again. Was 6th in this last year, and got a decent monthly prize too - a retro shirt; prizes not announced yet for this season but last year top was a football trip to milan, so there will probably be an extra incentive to sign up if you really need one.

yep your in, now up to 18, shame we never put a small entry fee on this with some/most of it going to a cause that 99% if not the full 100% some of us have had effect our families down the line. yes i know by just entering we are donating but this horrible dease needs as much backing as there is to give.

I think 9,229 of those user names are banned and 9,000 of the rest are duplicate accounts so it's not too bad

After numerous attempts I think I'm in...but it's not been straightforward...

Even in jest, I doubt that will have done Chris too many favours when selling any advertising space

I hope others show the same perseverance as you if they encounter problems with registering X-Man :?:

I'm not an internet expert by any means but I suspect that it's probably a little more sophisticated than you're suggesting. If I'm wrong I can think of a sure fire way of getting rich quick! 8-)

Tony,

I continue to be bemused by your chivvying, especially your far-fetched ambition to see all 20,000 members signed up. As has been pointed out by others, many people do not want to make a big thing of their good causes, and indeed the good book has passages where it makes clear that it's better to do good things in private and be rewarded in heaven rather than beat your chest for plaudits in this life. As a moderator I find your second sentence above particularly disturbing.

As anyone who is in the league will know, I'm in too, but I don't want to make a really big thing of that fact. I'd also appreciate it if you ceased trying to make people feel guilty for choosing not to sign up, or for not bumping your precious crusade just to shout from the rooftops "look how good I am!" When this thread starts to include some superleague banter of a fantasy football nature I will probably choose to contribute again.

I doubt that anyone who bumped this thread did it with the thought "look how good I am!" :?: I assume they did it too get the thread more noticed :?: As you carry adverts on your site, I assume you believe that advertising pays :?:

Of course your entitled to your opinion Bram, I admit my tactics were crude at times & in truth, I didn't intend to post anymore, here or anywhere else.

Thank you & good night
