roll with it jono, you'll survive.
now, i understand nakata turned in a good effort. but looking at the rules of how bonuses are awarded and their interpreted weightings, i can't see how nolan doesn't get the 3!
for the record, here are the calcs again.
Calculation 1 - Assesses a player’s contribution to a winning team, based on points won by the team when he appeared.
Calculation 2 – Assesses a player’s performance in each game by allocating points for actions that positively contribute to a winning performance such as shots, tackles, clearances and saves. It also takes points away from players for negative actions such as yellow/red cards and shots off target.
Calculation 3 – Allocates points based on time of the pitch.
Calculation 4 – Allocates points for goal scorers.
The Actim Index only includes actions that can be measured objectively.
i'd love to see how close their actual decimal difference was.

Interesting to see a bonus for Stubbs despite losing 3-1 to Arsenal - the first bonus point for a player on a team that loses by 2 goals?
Great week for me, 14 points from bonus points taking me from 63 to 77. I also came 96th in I Know The Score this week and am 6th in King of Leagues

absolutely made up with my team right now, 83 pts. for the gw inc. 11 bonuses - henry, mgp, & nolan 3 ea. o'shay 2.
up to 5th in the elite, & 205th overall.
but very worried.
this may sound silly, but i honestly can't enjoy it that much for fear of peaking too early. if this was happening in april/may i might very well pee my pants. (no, not really). i am fairly satisfied with my team structure and composition for the future, but being very cautious & realistic all the while.
in comparison, my 'no henry, lampard, terry, cech' team that i decided, before the season, to run as an experiment is not doing great. they just got 74 for a total of 605 and are up to 53,011th. they have jaaska, del h, chimbo, murphy, nolan, & mgp but a poor strike force (defoe/bent,zamora). the effect of this experimental team was somewhat nullified when henry was out but their rank actually dropped 'cause lamps decided to engage the nos fuel system for a few weeks.
and, as padrock noted/inferred, how the hell did beattie get the only goal, play 90 mins, avoid a card, and get no bonus pts.???

Interesting, Soccernet team of the week includes two MU players, Smith and VDS. No mention of Fletcher or the other two who got bonus points. Asian voted MOM (in the Chelsea MU game) was Rooney - proof indeed how subjective it all is.
(Maybe not directly comparable as I believe the Soccernet team of the week looks at each position in turn and picks the best player in that position only for its team of the week - so only indicative of who had a good 'un and who didn't)
