Will Man City shred WBA?
A selection dilemma.
So here is my team for the coming GW.
* denotes playing twice.
Carroll *
Neville *
Yobo *
O'Shea *
Hyypia
Repka *
Lampard
Benayoun *
Scholes (c) *
Henry
Cole
My dilemma:
I have Vassell sat on the bench, and I am tempted to bring him in - Man City seem to be in the groove, and I fancy them to score goals at WBA. But who to replace? Which of these looks better?
Vassell v WBA (a)
Yobo v MU (a), WH (h)
Repka v BR (a), EV (a)
Am I mad to consider removing someone playing twice? Should any of the other players make way?
Any thoughts appreciated.

Hi reggie,
Just notice these are your first postings so welcome.
There is talk on other threads (check them out) about John OShaky as he is being called. He could be dropped, he could be injured, he could play so I think given your choice (providing you haven't transferred him in specifically for the two games) I would play Vassell instead.
Just my opinions though!

Actually, I posted a bit at the start of the season - then moved houses so was off the internet for a while. But thanks for the welcome anyway. I am in the FISO league - been floating around the 30th mark since the start. Currently in 21st (Batman and Robben).
Have just read the thread on O'Shakey. Pretty useful. Still don't know whether he is worth risking in the coming GW...

I'd probably play O'Shea because these games look on paper to be two of Uniteds easiest of the season and there is a possibility of 2 clean sheets for him, even if he only plays one then there's still a good chance of a CS and if he doesn't feature at all then Vassell would come in as your first sub. Having said that, he'd probably come on in the last minute vs wigan or something!
Depends how confident you are in Uniteds defence I guess and John O'Shakey is the right word! Its annoying that the Everton game is on Sunday so we can't wait for team news. We won't have the problem of United games getting moved cos of midweek Euro games any more!
Notice you've got Cole as well so you might be a bit dependant on City scoring goals, although if they play like last week that won't be a problem! Agree its a tough one, I can guarentee I'd make the wrong choice!
I was doing quite well in the FISO league, up to 8th at one point but normal service has resumed in recent weeks! Bout 30ish now

Jonathan, you ought to buy those two esteemed regulars a pint.
