Sterling :arrow: KDB already done.

Prices seem to be moving in opposite directions.

Well I'm surprised Sterling never played today. Might have to get rid but for which Man City midfielder

Dias or Cancelo -> Targett/Cresswell/Regulion
Bruno -> (K)DB

A two week move before the blank and wildcard, will figure out which city trio is best then. For now I think KDB is the best captain for next week, so worth bringing forward the hit I wouldve taken down the line anyway (to get an extra player for 29) to enable it now.

Will you stick to this if KDB plays 90 again midweek?

Yeah I think so SK. It's always a dice roll with Pep, but IMO he's first choice and will get 130+ minutes across the two game. No serious CL responsibilities for them until after the blank too.

Might change my mind if Gundo gets a rest in the next DGW26 game, but reckon I'll stick with Kev. He was so good yesterday.

Mulling over Lowton to a Spurs defender, but a long way to go yet.

I thought their second leg was 3 days after GW28? Unless you mean they're already through which they basically are!

Lingard? Won't play against United the following week, but still.

I think he'll probably be the most popular replacement, but I'm not convinced. Last I checked he was over performing by quite a distance. If Villa get a double and Grealish is back then that's very attractive. Would also like to consider Arsenal mids.

Yeah likewise feels like a good week to roll to make a better decision about what is/isn’t worth doing for GW29 closer to the time.

Probably Barnes :arrow: Bale.

Not sure if it's too knee-jerk and risky that he might not start against Palace.
Maybe to Son is a safer move?

Anyone else thinking of ditching Fernandes?

MCI, WHU, blank, BHA, tot

Is a horrid run. Could do Auba or Bale who both would have a fixture GW29.

The only possible reason for ditching Fernandes is to chase points. From a defensive position it makes absolutely no sense at all.

He has a proven ability to return almost every week. Asides the MCI game, he could quite easily return in the others (the blank is irrelevant IMO)

Almost every week except blanks and versus the big six. Seems like an attractive strategy to drop him for a while, if it helps elsewhere.

Not for me. I bought him at 10.5m, I never get him back without weakening elsewhere. In addition, he can always get a goal or an assist, against any team. And he is on pens!

Same here. I do see why others would though.

I'm probably gonna bench Bruno next week. Have pretty much no value in Salah so he'll make way in 29 for Auba and come back in the following week I reckon.

Barnes -> Son

Scuppered some plans as I’d potentially planned Son to come in this week for Maddison.

Any news on Madison injury and whether he’s likely to be back for the weekend?

If he’s still out I might transfer in Lingaard for a -4. But I was also considering changing Sterling for either KDB or Gundogan.

Undecided given the Pep lottery with rotation. KDB might get rested one game. Sterling likely to play at least once in the next GW you’d think.

Will hopefully role unless there are any major injuries to my squad.

What's the deal with Martinez injury? Hopefully not too serious? I guess we'll find out in Villa's second game this week.

Adelante, Rodgers had encouraging news about Maddison. Check out his press conference from today, it gave a timeframe and <I think> it was next week
