C - Jiminez
VC - Ings
No KDB at the moment for me and fancy both of the aboves games over picking Maherez who is my only City player.

Don't think it will be a thrashing. 1-2 win with KdB getting 8-10 seems about fairxJosh- wrote:KDB (C) Salah (VC)
Even in that shambles of a Leicester game he was still creating etc even though we played horrendous all around. We usually bounce back v fast and the next team takes a thrashing for it however with these injuries it is a worry.
Good choice, even if unspectacular. Can say the same about Ings, and arguably in a more settled attacking unit.math! wrote:Jimenez because 1) it's Fulham and 2) he's on pens and we are in the midst of a Pendemic.

Taking in to account form and fixtures it feels like Arsenal might have the best (C) option this week. Last week for Auba to score me some points.

Re: GW 4 captaincy
By default, I put the armband on KDB for this week.
The bookies’ goalscorer odds have me rethinking the decision, though:

Salah significantly ahead of Kev. Do we believe this? Alternatively, how many assists do we think Kevin is going to get to make up for it?

One thing’s for sure, De Bruyne is more likely to assist than MoCaf wrote: ↑30 Sep 2020, 16:14 By default, I put the armband on KDB for this week.

Any takers for Trent captaincy? Saw a lot of preseason talk backing him for the armband more often. He really looked to be in the zone against Arsenal

Definitely, I'm considering him. There was a time last season when he was running Salah close for both points and double-digiters.chiplesschaps wrote:Any takers for Trent captaincy? many option to choose from ... dcl, salah, vardy and kdb, now toward vardy (capt) and dcl (vc) but could be change later not easy on decision since MOST highly ownership or selected capt in the polls may failed to deliver in the end
cheers.

this I am easily confused, and my usual game is a picking too may differentials. I have followed the masses with the popular captain picks so far this season and now I just want to pick some random dude like Andy Carrollchris2k_11 wrote: ↑01 Oct 2020, 07:04 many option to choose from ... dcl, salah, vardy and kdb, now toward vardy (capt) and dcl (vc) but could be change later not easy on decision since MOST highly ownership or selected capt in the polls may failed to deliver in the end

Not sure if this is the right forum, but I have a question w.r.t captaincy picks. If you have 2 players projected to score the same points over a 5 GW period, is it more prudent to stick to only one for the armband rather than fixture based HOHO trying to catch their hauls?

Fixture based. Higher average score if you conducted the experiment lots of times.chiplesschaps wrote: ↑01 Oct 2020, 10:21 Not sure if this is the right forum, but I have a question w.r.t captaincy picks. I think I'm going for KDB on this basis. Salah is an option of course but I believe Leeds are worse defensively than Villa and City might be like a bear with a sore head after Leicester mauling.
[Edit: Unless you mean you only own one of them? In which case, spending transfers might not be the best way to play it. Very team dependent and a strategy that some like, some dislike]

Salah (c), KDB (vc).
Thinking about just leaving the armband on Salah for the foreseeable future as my captain picks last season were generally terrible.
