Auba - Stick or twist for GW32?

Post by cymbalrush84 »

Three games, three blanks.

If I stick and he blanks against Norwich at home, it's gonna be the final straw.

Can't see a more favourable fixture this GW but hard to seek a replacement.

Anyone else in the same pool?

He's got 1 more week, then he's gone. Very nervous about making him captain, even against a really crap team.

Keeping and possibly captaining, it's definitely his last week in my team regardless.

Keeping, captaining then selling in GW33 for Rashford/Jesus.

Been very unlucky last couple of games...and Norwich are shite.

Keeping, with a transfer to Jesus afterwards, unless other issues arise.

Sticking, like others, with a view to getting rid of him in a week more or less regardless of what happens in GW32.

Arse were bad vs Soton...

Maybe it's Pukki time?

No safe bet here. Even Auba with his drought and an FA Cup game tomorrow is a punt.

Love to go for Jimenez but form doesn't necessarily dictate in derby games.

With the expense of ARS/NOR and MCY/LIV, I can't see many games screaming goals.

Think it's hard ot go for anyone with an FA cup game first.

Hence Jiminez or Doherty for me I think.

Nope. Even said if he bags me 30 points I’m still getting rid. The fact that both his goals were Norwich being so poor just makes it easier. Off you go for greenwood so I can do Saka > Salah

Huge relief - was very close to wildcarding in GW31 like most rivals, but used my free hit instead - mainly so I'd revert to my old team for GW32 and could keep Auba as captain. Risky but thankfully paid off.

Wildcard active now and Auba is definitely gone to enable Son/Salah etc.
