i definitely prefer Patricio over Martinez and the rest comes to Rashford & Pulisic vs Martial & Son

I toyed with the idea of Martinez in goal with a 3.9m goalie, but it is too risky for my liking. Should he also get injured, you are forced to make two transfers. The return with a poor Arsenal defence does not make up for it.

Patricio is certainly an excellent choice, but I prefer Pope in goal and Saiss as the third Wolves player. Pope gives you additional save points like Patricio, but Saiss might also give you additional attacking points. Food for thought.

Lots of teams without Mane or Salah in them - is the consensus that there will be a lot of rotation at Liverpool, or lower scores now there's less to play for, or both?

I'm toying whether to go with Salah/Mane or not. I don't really think there will be too much rotation, and I'm sure they will both get decent scores in the coming weeks, although yesterday's 0-0 didn't really do much to convince me.

The issue for me is really about their high price. Going without them allows a much stronger, more solid all round team and there seem to be a lot of good midfield/striker options in the 6 - 9 million bracket. I also think a decent playing bench will be important over the coming weeks and going without the Liverpool duo allows this.

Also the fact that there are 2 of them from the same team puts me off slightly as you never quite know which of them (if any) is going to haul in a particular week. When its a single expensive superstar like an Henry or CR7 it makes them more of a must-have IMO.

Saying all that though I do feel quite nervous not having any Liverpool attackers especially for Captaincy options.

Pretty much exactly my thinking on it, including the nervousness about not having either of them in!

Perhaps the rotation will be that both of them will still start against strong opponents, and maybe only one or the other starts against weaker opponents?

Sterling is one of the fittest players at Man City and he been dropped, so its just a guessing game from here on out.

Ritchie in good form, decent fixtures and on penalties. Doherty obvious ... Holgate solid with Everton and decent fixtures.
Vardy disappointing for a long time with the exception of the two goals against Villa at home. Agüero a big rotation risk, but whenever he plays, at least he contributes. Very good record against Chelsea, and if necessary, I can always swap him for another good striker. Pulisic also a gamble regarding rotation, but I liked his performance yesterday.

Due to injury of Agüero my hands are forced again:

The Firmino idea was a bit of a punt for a differential. Given potential Rashford price rise I’ve stuck him in for now but I don’t know why, I feel like he may not get firing for a while...

Yep- Azpilicueta feels like a solid differential to me. Multi-season form and a good run of fixtures.

On Traore/Saka, I see the risk but hopefully could use Lascelles and Taylor to offset that...
