Could there be any chance of Pep doing a Jurgen and saying he's not putting out a top eleven to protest at having to play in their week off?

Wouldn't Pep have wanted this outcome? I can't see a second team. Possible rotation though with a few major players getting 60 minutes. Wouldn't surprise me to see Foden I suppose. They can beat West Ham in second gear.

Unsure if Pep demanded his players return from Winter Break early enough to train properly - for me that's the only danger of a benching, not getting back in time. If it was the scheduled Winter Break, how many days training would have been demanded/required to take on Leicester on the Saturday?

@SamLee twitter
“That postponement has worked out pretty well for City - from a purely footballing point of view, anyway. Guardiola was talking about a lack of rhythm before the Madrid game because they would have only had one game beforehand. Now two in five days.”

Sam Lee called it already yesterday in prep for his City podcast
“Recording the latest episode of Why Always Us later on. Any questions? Here’s an answer straight off the bat - surely the West Ham game has to be next Wednesday?”

So when the games come thick and fast Pep moans about the fixture pile ups (despite having the most costly squad in football history) and when there is a nice break he moans about lack of rhythm :lol: that's brilliant! :lol:

In his shoes I would also make sure to find an argument for complaining, because the supposed "break" is just laughable :lol:

Could see a few rotations spread across the West Ham and Leicester games to keep a 'rhythmically conditioned' top eleven for the Real fixture. Leicester away a much tougher challenge than West Ham at home so possibly Foden and Jesus starting v West Ham and KDB and Aguero starting v Leicester? Is Sane close to being available for any of the next three games?

With only one Ciy player I suspect I was better off with no game. Especially as my main minileague rival has KdB as C and a potential no show Mane as VC.

Wonder who Pep will rotate...

Yep I only have KDB from Man City and had Lundstram coming in for him while my ML rivals all have Aguero, KDB and sone Mahrez, with poor backups. Fiddlesticks.

And 2 played each other. I doubt Fab will match them, well I hope not unless it is a Pen save from Gundragon...
