Did Kelly and Lundstram to Stephens and Taylor (Burnley) pretty much as soon as I was able to, which is a bit naive.

Wanted Lascelles but didn’t like his next fixture and I’m impatient, and wanted a different Sheff Utd defender but planning for GW28.

Lundstam to O'Connell, may hold my second free although one of my Leicester defenders needs to go.

Soyuncu to Egan, which funds Abraham to Jimenez (-4).

Lundstram can sit on my bench and haemorrhage value for one more gameweek.

Lundstram has to go.

I did Kelly to Lascelles on Friday night so already sorted one dropped player, now to sort the other.

Will most likely be Egan or Basham, fixtures are outstanding and they are so strong at the back that another SU defender for Lundstram is the obvious pick. I know they blank in GW28 but don't see the problem to be honest, my four other defenders - Lascelles, TAA, Rico, Dunk, all play and my only other non players will be KDB/Grealish and I'm considering losing one or both of them in GW27/28 anyway.

Boly was back (not a Wolves fan btw!)
Yeah, looks like he may well have lost his place. Boly and Coady are certainly first choice so if he can't displace Saïss then he'll be riding the bench for a while. Wolves played 3-5-2 for most of last season with Dendoncker in midfield, but the switch to 3-4-3 this season means there's no place for him in their best midfield as long as Moutinho and Neves are fit.

Ask sstaffsw though, he's a Wolves fan.
Spot on.

Boly coming back is a big plus for Wolves. He adds calmness to the defence, allows Neves to play further forward instead of playing so deep, allows Coady more time on the ball, Traore can get further forward, etc, etc. Boly is also useful at defending and attacking set pieces. The Doherty/Dendoncker partnership on the right never really looked comfortable IMO.

Probably Vardy to Aguero after today. Annoyed I drank too much and fell asleep fully dressed in the arm chair (shoes still on, awful) last night and missed the Vardy price drop.

Alternatively, may buy Jiminez rather than Aguero and beef up my midfield

Sounds like you had a good day and night and it was worth the 0.1 loss.

Apart from the hangover today of course 🤣

Alternatively, bring in two players whose next three games are home fixtures against Bournemouth, Brighton, and Norwich, with a game away to Newcastle after that.

Or don't. Fewer people owning Sheffield United assets means more points for me. 8-)

Good jobI did. This week I am once again going to have to keep a couple of borderline players because Kelly, Williams and Greenwood all lost their places too.

^^^ snout/math! - hadn’t thought of Lascelles with Arsenal away in GW26. Talk me through it?
Newcastle have been scoring goals with their defenders lately and I read a Scout article that highlighted Lascelles as one of the most threatening defenders in the league. I have removed Lundy for Baldock so Lascelles is likely to come in for Kelly after Arsenal. Would have preferred him in for GW25 but I was already on a -4.

Ive got 3 Sheff Utd players myself and i have enough starting players now to cover them on my bench for the blank GW28

I cant view his team so no idea if he has that cover, but there the best options at the moment, based on form and current fixtures

Cheers, was looking at Sheffield United, Southampton and Newcastle as the main source of targets. Also tempted by Aurier as the defender for some reason, but Spurs fixtures are pretty mixed?

I need to ditch Lundstram, initial thought is for Egan as I have nothing in the bank. Slightly tempted to go Stephens of Southampton to double up with McCarthy and he has a GW28 fixture, would mean no Sheffield United defence cover at all though.

Also Egan has no goals/assists where as Stephens has 1 goal, 3 assists and always seems to be a goal threat. Oh and look at them fixtures. Tough one.

I feel my team is strong enough for me to roll over, keeping 2 FTs for next week

I do have Maddison and Martial who are close to the chop, but I've a funny feeling they will hit form again soon (certainly Maddison)

I'm replacing Grealish by GW28 latest. Has Barnes been as good as he looks on paper? Sort of tempted to get him in before the price rise.

Barnes is definitely the go to player at the moment, high on confidence, creating plenty and scoring.

I'm getting in now before his price rises for sure

Before Sunday’s games I did worry if I’d made a mistake in hanging on to Vardy, but now I’m quite happy to hold on to him for another week or two. I’m not overly afraid of not owning Aguero or Aubameyang, if anything I think I’d bring in Jimenez if I was to ditch him.

Weird transition where about 2 months ago there were 6-7 solid striker choices, now there don’t seem to be any!

I wildcarded last week so took a 1-week punt on Callum Wilson.

Waste of time. Ings now in.

Southamptons fixtures are pretty similar, plus they do have a game in GW28. (Arguably they aren’t as likely as Sheff U to keep a CS in any given game though)

With that in mind, I’ve gone Ryan  McCarthy , who also saves 0.6/0.7 over the other keepers being discussed 👍🏻

(Ryan’s fixtures are also ok, and I have other transfers I need to do, I just couldn’t stand the sight of him in my team any longer).

I did Lundstram to Stephens.

Still have a dreadful bottom 1/3rd of my squad, but that’s not where my points come from so I’m not overly concerned.

Carrying McGovern, Kelly, Stephens, Henley, Saka, Greenwood.

So long as I can get 3pts from whichever 2 of these donkeys make my XI, then that’s all I expect.

Tough with Mané injured. But I half expect him to start in GW26.

Maddison to Perez looks like the move that unlocks a bit of cash for replacing D3,D4,D5

Why don't you transfer to Harvey Barnes who is 'in form' and is 0.3 cheaper than Perez...

Anyone going for Auba actually watched yesterday's game?
I definitely regret choosing Auba as my Vardy's replacement a week or so ago.

I brought him in for vardy and made him Captain 😳

He did a have a couple of chances he should have done better with, but my main concern was Arsenal are just poor as a whole and Auba spent more time tracking back defending than he did in the attacking half.

Luckily ive used my WC this week and switched back to Vardy as even though Leicester were not at the best, when they did turn it on they looked like was going to get 3 or 4 and no idea how Harvey Barnes missed that sitter that Vardy put on a plate for him
