Vardy vs Rashford

Post by Blue Fire »

Are we overlooking Rashford?

1. Rashford's xG is 0.67 vs Vardy's 0.43 (though if you exclude penalties, it's 0.36 vs 0.35).
2. United's fixtures are as good, if not better than Leicester's right up until the second WC.
3. FFS projection over the next 6 weeks has Rashford with 28.7 points and Vardy with 29.2 points.
4. He is 0.8m less expensive.

Yeah he's an option though not sure on his stats if out wide with Martial centre forward. Just appears Vardy is a better finisher - that's the problem. More pressure on Rashford playing for Man U might explain part of it. I don't think either are essential but really depends on your own budget/what you can do with 0.8mn.

I think Martial factors into the Rashford conundrum too. At .8 cheaper he’s hard to ignore given that his. npxGp90 is 0.69 to Rashford’s 0.49. They both improve each other’s FPL prospects though.

The minus points for missed penalties makes him an FPL hazard.

Image Solskjaer when asked about Rashford/Maguire's knocks: "We're playing football, it's not basketball. Some of them are sore but you should be down on your knees after a game of football. But they're quick healers and hopefully they'll be ready for Saturday."

Didn't look bad. He had an ice pack on after getting subbed, but took it off and walked freely after the game.

Yes he was probably the best consistent substitute in the history of Premier League football. (and C.League sub appearances not bad either  )

I've never touched Pukki but went for David Silva and Vardy (£16m) as the equivalent pairing alongside KDB, Sterling and the Chelskids Mount and Tammy.

I don't like saying I told you so, but...

If only you'd stuck with Chris Wood.

I love saying I told you so, actually.

Second fiddle ( 3rd if you want to be pedantic) to John Toshack and Kevin Keegan. Scored a lot of substitute goals including a European cup quarter final home game, he came on to score the winner in a 3-2 ( on aggregate) against St Etienne and got the super sub tag. My sister is a Liverpool fan
