Got two tinkering moves planned... will try to resist the -4 by choosing only one of them... either

D.Silva  KDB
or
Dendoncker  Cantwell

Despite still having two Liverpool defenders and a yellow flag... I did King -> Abraham last night.

Annoyingly i will have 5 players in that Chelsea v Liverpool game.

Had set up to do Wickham to Haller this week, but can’t keep ignoring Tammy. So instead went Wickham to Tammy last night. Moving to 3 upfront (Pukki, Barnes and Abraham) when only 2-3 weeks ago I was considering just 1 upfront !!

If I told you I was going to take a hit to move between mids from the same team what would you say?

But then I only have KDB as city offence. I don't particularly want Pukki long term but I have to keep him as he's going to continue to rise. Zinchenko and Emerson aren't great but I can ride the Emerson injury as I have plenty of cover at the back. 🤷‍♂️🤔
This. I want Abraham. Greenwood would go. Zinchenko doesn’t look essential but that wouldn’t raise the required funds and I don’t want to lose anyone else!

I had £0.2m spare for this yesterday, now zero. Might just take the -4 hit & do both now. Risky, with champs league games during the week.

There has to be a very good reason to do that for a hit. But you know that... own up!

Thanks for the reminder.

You know what, IF, someone once said to me that, ‘There has to be a very good reason to do that for a hit’.
I’d ignore them though. Do it! Do it! Do it!

And I'll be removing Ceballos if he doesn't start today (or come off the bench and get points) - some reasonable options being Iwobi, McNeil, possibly even Yarmolenko, who's sitting there at a tempting 5.9, though I do already have Haller so that's not ideal.

King to Pukki funded by selling one of Silva, Maguire, Zinchenko or maybe even Sterling depending on midweek minutes.

I'd love King to give me a problem against Everton though.

First -4 of the season, but dont want to be priced out anymore and Pukki is clearly a set and forgot player.

Wish id listened to Finisher more through pre season.

Wood ➡️ pukki
Kean ➡️ wesley (hopefully does not get injured tomorrow)

Either a senisbleish/dull
Van Dijk  Digne
Greenwood  Barnes (-4)

Or a more bold/exciting/stupid!?
Salah  Richarlison
Greenwood  Aubameyang (-4)

Is that good or stupid?

Was planning a simple Dendonck to Cantwell.

But I've plummeted from 16k to 80k in the last two game weeks, so will need to hold my nerve if I'm not going to decide that my current set up is in trouble.

You have a very similar team to me, i just think its a bad week, your team looks solid.

Id defo swap dendocker for Cantwell though if can afford it

Really, the difference over the past two weeks has been Sterling vs Aguero. Need to hope that it's not so lopsided in future game weeks, but I've a horrible feeling it's going to get worse before it gets better when Kun faces Watford at home next week.

Thinking James, Greenwood  Cantwell, Abraham and switching to a 3-4-3

Alternative is a 3-5-2 with Dendoncker  Cantwell this week and maybe Barnes  Abraham/Haller the next. Thoughts?

Went ludicrously early on:
Boly + Dendonkey -> Lundstram + Cantwell (-4)

It looks like a crazy hit, given where those guys sit in the squad pecking order, but it could wind up being a 0.3m swing (and my bench depth is currently 💩)

I’m fairly confident I’ll get the 4 points back, but not necessarily right away.

Dammit Cantwell rose last night, he was on 98% with a small arrow when I checked at midnight so thought he would be safe until after the game today

Saving them might find a way to go 3-4-3 depending on the Tammy situation.

Two frees.

Emerson to someone (open to suggestions...) will probably one, but I'm unsure of the second one. Will see what the midweek games hold in store.

Abraham is looking increasingly hard to ignore, but with Aguero, Haller and Pukki in my team and him having Liverpool up next, it's probably one I can hold off on for now.

Wildcarding.

Bringing in United defenders (think they are quite settled at the back now). Really needed to oust Perez and Gerry D who have all but destroyed my team value. Cantwell in, Auba in, Barnes in, Pope in and Maddison in. Mane swapped in for Salah too. Not too sure on Maddison tbh but I think he will haul soon.

If he gets through the CL game, might do this before any more price rises:

Haller  Abraham

Don't feel great about it but have 2 FT and no major fires to put out. I don't think Liverpool is as bad a fixture this season as people are making out too, Man U could keep a CS too.

D.Silva  KDB

After Citeh' last performance I believe Pep will want to turn things around and come out all guns blazing... and KDB is the key.

Looking for my first green arrow since wildcarding in gw3

Haller > Abraham a week earlier than planned due to prices.

Should really look at shifting Laporte too. Considering Boly due to boni potential, but not convinced by the clean sheet potential!! Possibly Leicester defender however probably less convinced by their clean sheet potential.

Lots to consider!!

2 FTs 0.6itb. I’ll probably be going one of these

Coleman > 4.4
Dendoncker > Mount
0.0 itb
(Switch to 3-5-2)

Haller > Abraham
Dendoncker > Cantwell
+ 0.6itb

I think I prefer the first despite not knowing of any viable 4.4’s - they’d be rotating with Lundstrum for the third defender spot. Any obvious choices I’m missing?

Current team for reference
Pope (McGovern)
Zinchenko VVD Coleman Lundstrum (Rico)
Salah Sterling KDB Martial (Dendoncker)
Haller Pukki (Greenwood)
