Roll or emerson to otamendi/stones?
Tough one.. Not good for next 2 but potential must-have after that. Make the transfer if you don't have any other concerns in your team at the moment for the next 2 GWs.
Bixer wrote: 11 Sep 2019, 11:45 Really considering;

Kane > Aguero
Zinchenko > Burnley defender

With my 2 frees.

Always a risk to take out Kane as you never know when he's going to haul, but the idea of having the 3 best Man City attackers as set and forget (already got Sterling and KdB too) is really tempting. Right when Zinchenko might start to face some rotation too.

If I go for a £4.5m defender, I've then still got money in the bank to upgrade Pukki to the likes of Abraham or Haller should his goals dry up.
Agree, but what about Greenwood? You might be lucky to get 1 point per GW from, I think? Even for a 4.5, that's not good. And then you'll be having another 4.5 ..

Having said that, the move itself looks good. With two FTs, I say forget Greenwood and go for it!

Yeah I’m in this quandary too... still think he’ll come good so rather than transfer him in again, I might just risk him being unready this GW and rely on my bench (either Lundstram or Dendoncker).

Yes planning on removing AWB this week, not sure whether to upgrade to Digne (already have Coleman) or downgrade to a 4.5m(not sure who, but would free up some funds). I stupidly sold TAA for AWB a couple of weeks ago to free up funds, wasn’t a good move!

Perez  One of Iwobi, James, Ceballos, Yarmolenko, McGinn. Tough decision, we'll see.

Hopefully Martial is fit. Otherwise, I might have to take my first hit of the season.

Ive Done an early W-B to TAA.
W-B is out. Also have Martial so if OGS says tomorrow (Fridas) that hes still injured, I need to take a -4 because my bench is useless.

But I think he Will play and punish all the sellers 😁😁

Highly likely to be a hold this week before deciding whether to replace Rico, Greenwood or Dendoncker with a more reliable starter.

AWB to Kolasinac FT.

Hoping Kolasinac plays LM in some games (when Auba goes central) during Arsenal’s good run and picks up some goal contributions. Would have gone Otamendi (who is the better pick over Stones, IMO) but have exhausted my MCI allocation.

Like AWB, and think I’ll have him back at some point/won’t be out for long, but good chance he misses this weekend and not liking Man U at the moment, nor are their next set of fixtures as inviting as Arsenal’s.

Does mean Zouma survives yet another gameweek. Liverpool aside, Chelsea’s fixtures turn soon too though, and I’m hoping the returns of Rudiger (for Christensen) and Kante will shore up the CS potential.

Still feel, 5 gameweeks in, that I’m still punting in too many places. Ah well, the WC is still there to bail me out soon.

Yes, my advice would be to avoid him. I don't think he's liely to be starting games any time soon.

Giving serious consideration to this as a short term play. Normally would feel its overkill, but City could easily average 3 goals (or more) over next couple of weeks. KDB, Sterling & Kun all likely to be heavily involved.

Anyone think Sigurdsson to David Silva for a -4 is worth it? If David Silva were 100% to start I would do it.

Personally, no. Still think Sigurdsson will come good whilst Silva is always a rotation risk.

My conundrum is James or McNeil. Any thoughts?

Cheers. I'm sticking with Ceballos then. Martial out with a "25% chance of playing" makes me do my first -4 of the season and get in Bernardo Silva (had wanted Mahrez but 0.1 short) or Yarmolenko, benching Pukki.

James's numbers are better. It's a concern whether United can break Leicester down without Pogba or Martial, but in the long run I think James is certainly the better choice. McGinn is also a nice option at that price if you're looking at the next 5 weeks.

Given enough games Sig will produce, but Everton seem to still be searching for a rhythm in attack, whereas City can put any number past Norwich this weekend. My finger is really getting itchy to do it.

You think Ceballos will be more advanced now Laca is out till october ?

Im tempted to bring him myself now, i just hate the rotation at Arsenal every game

I had hoped for him to play behind a front three. With Laca out he might be even more advanced, not sure. I saw an article which mentioned that Emery wants him to take charge in midfield. With a nice run looming, I'm happy to bring him in. Such a classy player from what I have seen so far, hoping to cheer him on for some goals now.

I’m not sure if it’s nervous energy stored up over the international break but I’m half tempted to use my Free Hit to bring in this XI...

Adrian
TAA; Maitland-Niles; Lundstrom
Salah; Sterling; D.Silva; Ceballos; Guendouzi
Aguero (C); Haller

Does anyone think this is a vaguely good idea...?

With Lacazette out (therefore Aubameyang central), Monreal away, that leaves only Tierney right? He’s young, unproven in Prem and scheduled for a run in the U23s after only returning to training this week (source: Emery today via Sky Sports). Think Kolasinac will be league first choice in the main, certainly for the run of fixtures I’m interested in over the next 5 or so, Tierney Europa perhaps.

Nelson should be taking Lacazette spot so Ceballos would play in the same position

Boring transfer but Rico - Lowton.

Rico not starting and I like Burnleys fixtures. Could have upgraded Perez or Delefeu which is much needed but that would leave me with no where to go go with Rico down the line. Still have my WC which I will play in the next few weeks.
