I used my wildcard earlier this week before some of the (futher) price rises I think.

My team is now

Pope/Button (bench)
Van Dijk/Wan Bissaka/Maguire/Lundstram (possible bench)/Kelly (possible bench)
Mount (possible bench)/Salah/ De Bruyne/ Sterling/ Kantwell (possible bench)
Barnes (possible bench)/Pukki/Abraham (Possible bench)

The major players I took out of the team were B. Silva and Kane to accommodate Sterling.

Overall I feel the team is more balanced and I have more options. Before I was stuck with 3-5-2 and nearly every week so far I have had one player auto subbed. Now I feel I can use any formation and have a number of options in all positions and it would still be quite strong. Also my bench is stronger overall and I would be OK with having any of Lundstram/Kelly/Mount/Kantwell/ Barnes/ Abraham/ Barnes either on the bench or playing and still feel reasonably confident. Before the bench was pretty much a write off.

The only downside to this is I have to make decisions regarding the team every week where as before it pretty much picked itself but it couldn't go on the way it was. I was 3rd in my mini league after week one and it has been a steady decline since, I am now 8th and I can't let that continue. The downside is that now I have no premium striker any more. No Kane, no Agüero, no Aubameyang, that is a bit of a risk but you just can't have every good player going, you have to make choices. The midfield has at least three attacking midfielders so I am hoping that well counteract the lack of a premium striker.

There is much more to think about with this game than The Sun but that is not such a bad thing, just trying to ride the steep learning curve.

Incredibly boring Rico > Kelly. Provides a nice 4.0 defender rotation with Lundstram.

But Rico might play with Daniels supposedly injured.

How long is Daniels supposed to be out for? Could keep Rico in that case and roll the transfer.

Daniels dislocated his knee so going to be out for a while.

I didn't know that was possible.

Confirmed as out of the season poor guy, been with us since league one and suspect that might be it for his premier league playing days.

Aquero and Mount leaves me with .6 ITB and the Haller/KDB combo leaves me with 1.6 ITB. I suppose the extra cash could be handy to move Greenwood to someone like Joelinton or another 6 buck striker but I feel like Aquero could easily get a hattrick
