Interesting that you are certain over Kane, I notice on one of the other threads you are "Gutted about Martial, he will have to come into my team at some point, even if he cost me 8.0 by then".

I know that it's a risk going with Martial this week when Kane looks so very tempting - if I stick with Martial then I might have to watch the Spurs game from behind the sofa :D

I've just had a look ahead at the fixtures in Wk 5 and there will be a very similar dilemma as Salah home to New, Kane home to CP, Martial home to Lei and Sterling away to Nor - but let's not go there yet, I've got this weekend to sweat through.

Good luck to all
Thst should be a no brainer for Salah.

Martial is a quality player, dont get me wrong and i really do want him in my team.
Ive got Salah and Sterling as set and forget players and my captain will be between them for the season barring injuries.

Kane, Salah and Sterling are players that can get braces and hat tricks on a regular basis and thats why we captain them.

Martial is not the type of player to get many braces and certainly not many tricks, im not even sure he has ever had one.

Im a man utd fan and i think palace are actually a solid team and we will onky beat them by 1 or 2 goals.

Newcastle are pants and Kane is immense, if they bag 5 goals in that game, then Kane will have the majority of them.

Anyway its your team and your choice, i wish you the best of luck πŸ‘πŸ»

Bournemouth just can't handle Man City and specifically Sterling. I've seen them get thrashed enough times by them I will definitely be captaining Sterling - and if he blanks hopefully that means AFCB get something from the game!

Was on Sterling all week but just got Kane in and armband is firmly on him. Newcastle look really downtrodden and Spurs will be jubilant after that City performance last week.

No Kane, so it's Sterling again this week for me.

Still unsure whether it’s best to play it safe with Sterling or play high risk/high reward with Kane.

I have a feeling Spurs will do a Spurs, as usual. Being Spurs and all that.

AgΓΌero in ManCity against Newcastle I would not hesitate for the captain choice, but Kane in Spurs against Newcastle .. I have got my doubts.
After reading all the discussion, I still stick to (K) M .... Mane captain

Well they might be jubilant after the result but the performance? They got absolutely murdered. It was brutal.

That said I think this Spurs - Newcastle game will hinge on Newcastle and their performance alone. If they play well, they have a chance of a close game.

I'm still on Sterling for captain, despite owning Kane.

Currently Sterling (c), Salah (vc)

On my wildcard though and will captain Kane if I can fit him in.

Did you put Son in ? I am having a head ache who to captain. Son or Salah. Don’t own Stirling or Kane. Help convince me Son is the right choice.

I see Kane is the obvious captain. I can also see Sterling is following him in the poll.

What I really can't understand is how is it possible that Salah as a captain is potential differential this week?

Don't get me wrong. I have Kane. I have Lucas. I have KDB, and I have Salah.

Arsenal defence is awful, probably on the same level as NEW's. What's wrong with captaining Salah? I just want an explanation since it looks like I'm missing something big.
Salah it was.

Well done those who went Salah

Seemed an obvious choice when I saw the stat that Liverpool v Arsenal has delivered more goals than any other fixture in PL history!

I did. I thinking having these 4 in my team this year is going to be a game of roulette. The strange thing is that which ever one I pick I know that others will have the other 3, so I'm not sure I want them to do too well as I know that other may have them as captains. It's gonna be a long season
