Well, yeah, blah. On the plus side, Kane is more likely to score appearance points than half a dozen of your players, and have the opportunity to contribute positively. He can wait

Normally I lean towards the more expensive player but cantwell has the fixture over Barnes
Of the other two, tough call. There’s no right answer
Gonna go cantwell I think and hope for a Liverpool clean sheet finally

Ake for me. Lei should score at least 1.

Greenwood or Ceballos? Normally I wouldn't consider Greenwood but with Martial out could he actually get a start?

Cantwell or Greenwood. OGS comments suggest he'll play a part but will be start or go safe with Cantwell vs dodgy WHU defence

Bench Lundstram (home to S'ton) or Pukki (home to Man C)? Lundstram has clean sheet potential and a little attacking threat, Pukki well we know about him. I'm leaning towards playing Lund!

Next week: As it happens I’ll have the similar Lundstrum or Cantwell decision to make. I’ll be playing Pukki and would vote for that for you, but am likely to bench Cantwell

Re: Who to bench 2019/20
Guessing a few will have the dilemna with Norwich at Home to City...
I need to play one of Pukki (MCI), Dendoncker (CHE), Dunk or Stephens (both BUR)
All at home, but tempted with Pukki as I suppose he has form, though he'll have most likely played 180 minutes of football with Finland, so maybe not super fresh.

Re: Who to bench 2019/20
Play Pukki (MCI) or Montoya (BUR)? With Trossard out does it decrease Brighton's chance of CS? Burnley in decent form too.
Still currently leaning towards playing Montoya as expecting Norwich to get well beaten by city (especially since 3 of their first team players got injured during the last PL/Carabao cup game).

I do understand your dilemma.. but playing Pukki would be the safer play as well with his ownership. Will Montoya keep a CS with Barnes in form? Will his crosses be good enough to trouble Burnley? Maybe, but these things need to be considered.

Re: Who to bench 2019/20
I'm thinking I'll play Lundstram over Cantwell this week too. Some of their attacking stats aren't too different surprisingly, e.g. both have had 0.5 shots on target each match. Cantwell far more likely to assist of course. But Southampton obviously way worse than City, and more of a chance of a Lundstram 4pt CS vs Cantwell's very unlikely 1pt CS.Smurphy's Paw wrote: ↑01 Sep 2019, 20:47Yeah, at least I had Boly on the benchSutter Kane wrote: ↑01 Sep 2019, 18:42Unlucky either way!Smurphy's Paw wrote: ↑31 Aug 2019, 10:21 Bench one of Cantwell (@porous WHam away; also have Pukki) or Boly (@goal shy Everton)?

Gonna play Pukki though, if he can score against Liverpool away he could well score against City at home.

Re: Who to bench 2019/20
True. But my train of thought is I have Montoya in my team exactly for this type of fixture, If I'm not even playing him against BUR (H) then it feels like a waste to have him. Agree with your point about Pukki's ownership/scoring potential. Still, with the injury problems that Norwich have, don't think they will even have much of the ball.SirMattBugsby wrote: ↑08 Sep 2019, 14:23 Well-beaten doesn't mean Pukki won't score.

Re: Who to bench 2019/20
Take it you have used you wildcard this week ?
Id personally keep with your orginal idea of a 4.0 sub keeper and use the 0.5 million elsewhwere.
Otherwise you have this problem every game week, i like both the goalkeepers but id go for Pope out of the 2 of them.

Pope (NOR)
Or
Adrian (Che)
Who would have thought this would be a hard decision ....I’m actually playing Adrian currently in case there is a classic 0-0 in that game.

Re: Who to bench 2019/20
Evening guys,
Need to play two from:
Lundstram (eve)
Rico (sou)
Dendoncker (cry)
Dendoncker has started 3/5 this season but has started tonight.
Lundstram is OOP (but does that mean much the way he plays?) and SHU have let in fewer goals than BOU (Rico) but EVE (who play SHU) will have more firepower than SOU against BOU?
