Che Adams scored within 2 minutes of Saints 1-1 draw with SCR Altach (Austrian Bundesliga team). There was a complete change of the starting 11 at half time, from what I can tell.

Newcastle 0-4 Wolves in the Asia Tournament.
Jota (Jonny)
Gibbs-White (Jonny)
Jota (Dendoncker)
OG
Wolves look up for it, Newcastle are a shambles especially at the back.

And the other game in the Asia Tournament, Man City 4 - 1 West Ham
0 - 1 Mark Noble PEN (Felipe Anderson) from a handball, not sure FPL would give it
1 - 1 David Silva (Adria Bernabe)
2 - 1 Lukas Nmecha (-) wins the penalty himself
3 - 1 Raheem Sterling (Sane)
4 - 1 Raheem Sterling (de Bruyne)

Well you have the EL soon....
How much cobcern is there about the extra matches as your squad is quite small?

Re: FPL pre-season friendlies 2019/20
There is a concern that we haven't added to the squad yet especially as we have let Costa and Cavaleiro go out on loan, but we must have some irons in the fire to let that happen. We haven't made too many mistakes in the last couple of years so we have faith that we'll be OK.

Ayoze Perez scored in a 1-0 at Scunthorpe United last night. Typical mix of two teams for Leicester in either half but most of the big names featured at some point.

Re: FPL pre-season friendlies 2019/20
Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford put Manchester United on course for a 4-0 pre-season win against Leeds in Australia. A fine move involving the impressive Paul Pogba and the £45m signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka led to 17-year-old Greenwood’s first senior goal and Ole Gunnar Solskjær said the young forward may even force his way into his starting lineup for the first match of the Premier League season, against Chelsea.
“He’s got a chance of starting that one, definitely,” Solskjaer said. “He’s more than capable and will always be there, in and around the box, creating chances. And I won’t say that’s not a possibility, no, it’s a good possibility. If he keeps going as he does. It’s difficult to keep players out who perform well.
“Of course we’ve been delighted with the goal he scores. It’s important for strikers to get that goal, even though we always know he’s capable of scoring goals and maybe that’s a weight off his shoulders. I think his movement, his cleverness, he’s going to be a very good player, the young boy.
“He can play all front four positions, he can play 10, seven, 11, nine, he’s a natural footballer. With his left foot coming in, he can play anywhere along the frontline.”
4.5m striker alert!

Liverpool update-
Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Alisson Becker will begin pre-season training ahead of Liverpool’s summer camp in Evian later this month.
The trio have been afforded an extended break due to their international commitments with Egypt and Brazil respectively.
However, Jürgen Klopp has confirmed they will be back for the training camp in south-east France.
The manager told Liverpoolfc.com in Indiana on Wednesday: “Mo and the Brazilians will come for Evian.
“It means then we have nearly a week until City [in the Community Shield], a strong 12 days until Norwich and then 15 or 16 days until Chelsea [in the Super Cup].
One player whose return date is yet to be confirmed is Sadio Mane, who will contest the Africa Cup of Nations final with Senegal against Algeria on Friday night.
“With Sadio, we have to see about him after the final – how he is feeling and stuff like that,” Klopp continued.
“It will be really difficult. 16 days before we play City, his season is finished. We will have to make a decision, but we haven’t made it yet.”

Saw the last 30 mins of Chelsea vs Kawasaki this morning. Nothing major to note but Barkley and Giroud both looking quite good IMO. Pulisic looking to be half as good as Hazard. Put in some nice looking corners but on the ball looked a bit like a one trick pony.

Re: FPL pre-season friendlies 2019/20
Just to let you know guys, I'm away for the weekend and it's doubtful I'll be near a computer, so I won't get to the weekend's backlog of friendlies until Monday unfortunately. Pretty much every team is playing at some point over the weekend, and some are even playing twice, so I'll have quite a backlog to work through when I get home Monday evening!

Everton beat Monaco 1-0 a earlier this evening.
6 minutes of highlights here from Everton TV:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1dqPyiMBCIc
Coleman with the goal and Digne very attacking too, all the fans still think they need a striker.

If anyone is bored, Bournemouth's friendly tonight is live streamed on their website:
https://www.afcb.co.uk/videos/live/afc- ... h-v-girona
Wilson is perhaps the most relevant FPL asset playing.

Most of us have King because of his price and probability of pens. Should we be rethinking that strategy? Wilson and Fraser are killing it, one of them seems a must. I suppose we can consider them poor team's premiums?Mav3rick wrote: ↑20 Jul 2019, 19:14 If anyone is bored, Bournemouth's friendly tonight is live streamed on their website:

Ive got King and Brooks and would prefer the other 2, but the player value this season makes its a lot harder to get the players in you want.SirMattBugsby wrote: ↑21 Jul 2019, 06:51Most of us have King because of his price and probability of pens. Also pre season means nothing really as it can be the others doing the business when the season kicks off.

Arsenal won 3-0 last night, still same problems as last season its the defence, but to me what was interesting and seemed to work was when they switched to a 4-2-3-1 with Laca playing central in the 3 with Nketiah leading the line, was amazed how well it worked. While think next season we will not be challenging at very top if any truth in rumours of signings is true top 4 is very getable. Some of our young players give a lot of hope for future, but we do need at least 3 key signings in rest of window

does Nketiah have a realistic chance of game time? Especially if the Auba rumours are true - or would Arsenal go straight in for another expensive superstar?mikeg13 wrote: ↑21 Jul 2019, 12:58 Arsenal won 3-0 last night, still same problems as last season its the defence, but to me what was interesting and seemed to work was when they switched to a 4-2-3-1 with Laca playing central in the 3 with Nketiah leading the line, was amazed how well it worked. Some goal from Kane. I also was very impressed with Kyle Walker-Peters whom has got decent pace, attacked the full back and did well up against Ronaldo. Certainly keeping my eyes open with regards to the Tottenham full back position

Yes I do but mainly from bench, Kane he is not but played to his strength a very good finisher, hope money spent on a FB and central defender, bit of luck and next week fingers crossed and we may have answer to one of our (if not 2) needs with the player from Real coming on loan we have missed a Cazzorla type player and he is and hope FB from north of border then we need to get a partner for Holding and then we should have a competitive side to start seasonraoul wrote: ↑21 Jul 2019, 14:29does Nketiah have a realistic chance of game time? Last season KWP had a great first PL game which could have been enough to push as rotation / cover for Trippier...and he can play LB too...then we bought Aurier.bcfc1903 wrote: ↑21 Jul 2019, 15:16 Some goal from Kane. He got frozen out with Foyth occasionally covering RB, and even Sissoko a couple of times mid game.
